you have mayweather on the mind :***:B-Hop already had the skills he has now, during his prime; B-Hop was about taking mother fuckers out. Watch B-Hop outbox Echols in their first bout, watch the rematch where he was left using one arm for about a round, he boxed beautifully. Some people (Those who haven't watched a prime B-Hop) don't now that he already that technically good.Comment

Gotta disagree my friend. B-Hop in his prime had 15 round stamina. Right now, he is very perservative towards his energy. Notice that when B-Hop took that long break after the low blow, he did alot better. There is a huge difference and people have to watch B-Hop's earlier stuff to know this.Comment

Lol, a lot of these clowns don't even know what a prime Hopkins was. They view the late 30s version as prime, when this si not the case. Hopkins in his prime would, outbox, outslug, and outman Calzaghe and grind him down stopping him late, probably with a barrage of body shots. Hopkins KO.Comment

Hopkins was still very much a counter puncher in his prime, see Trinidad fight for example. He was more aggressive in the sense he threw more punches and combos but at the same time he was still very smart, defensive and a fantastic counter puncher. He fought differently based on his opponents skills/styles (he still does that).Comment

Let's call a spade a spade. None of these ****ers even knew who Hopkins was before Tito, maybe even before Tarver.Hopkins was still very much a counter puncher in his prime, see Trinidad fight for example. That's what made B-Hop very unique. His style was to seek and destroy and he was very successful in doing that. What made him special is that he didn't get hit in the process. I don't think Calzaghe had the power to get B-Hop's respect, sort of like a Roy or an Echols.Comment
