Oh yeah because the 43 year old stamina he had really helped that night, didn't it? A Prime Hopkins never fatigued, never got tired.

Didn't Hopkins display against Pavlik show you fcukers anything? it wasn't Hopkins being old that lost him the fight it was the pace he was forced to fight at and the pressure he was put under.

          Style make fights not age.
Pavlik was a slow, straight-line, and what proved to be not mentally strong fighter when given angles from an Old Man.

Taylor proved (as well as fights before), that Hopkins stamina was on the decline. That's why he started to pace himself, pot-shot, and take off rounds.

Why? He nearly beat the guy at age 43. Wouldn't you think a prime hopkins would have had more energy to throw more punches, combos, move around the ring quicker, etc.?

            Makes no sense.

              Hows that?

I suppose saying Hopkins KOs Calzaghe when he couldnt KO Syd Vanderpool makes perfect sense.

Two examples of a longer career at MW than you are leading on.

You can argue that when Hopkins / Calzaghe finally fought. Hopkins was already out of his prime and Calzaghe was probably still in it or close to it.

He stopped Johnson, Mercado, Echols, Tito, DLH...PUHHHLEASE. Calzaghe is too open for counters. An old B-Hop beat Calzaghe 114-113, a prime B-Hop K.O's him late.
