Stamina doesnt beat Calzaghe, thats his main asset. The older, more cagey, smarter Hopkins is the style that gives Joe trouble.

He stopped Antwun Echols (who at the time had an excellent chin) and of course lets not forget he's still the only man to date to have stopped Glen Johnson.

Calzaghe wins based on styles. also i think Hopkins is still near his prime, he is a genetic freak.

Joe is too open and Hopkins was more aggressive than he is now. Hopkins wins, but tough to say how.

Hopkins in his prime was cagey and the smarter fighter. Please see his fights from around '99 to 2002 as examples.

The only thing different as hopkins got older he threw less punches (pot shots) and was more defensive then ever. He wasn't smarter, he just knew at his age he had to slow the pace down.

I suppose saying Hopkins KOs Calzaghe when he couldnt KO Syd Vanderpool makes perfect sense.
B-Hop already had the skills he has now, during his prime; B-Hop was about taking mother fuckers out. Watch B-Hop outbox Echols in their first bout, watch the rematch where he was left using one arm for about a round, he boxed beautifully. Some people (Those who haven't watched a prime B-Hop) don't now that he already that technically good.

antwun echols, glen johnson... prime joe calzaghe? the three dont fit in same sentence.

hopkins is a bigger version of mayweather, midget beaters.

                      Makes no sense.
because the only reason it was close was because Hopkins clinched and spoiled, when they actually fought and exchanged Hopkins didn't come out of them well, if had had he would have clinched and spolied less.

Every time they exchanged hopkins didn't like what was happening, look at teh scorecards for the fight, Hopkins won the tight negative rounds, Calzaghe won the rounds where he forced Hopkins to trade.
