I opened a thread with a sarcastic tone in it. It's a circus fight. I was questioning the media/youtubers' ****** obsession of it.

Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford on Cinco De Mayo 2024?

He knows it coz Bozy already done a interview claiming they got an offer and handed it over to Showtime.

Ennis say he's avoided and know one wants to fight him right,

Well there's this guy in England, the son of a legend Nigel Ben's son , Connor Ben.

Ben wants all the smoke he can handle, it a big fight in the UK, so go make your name across the pond. Fight that guy. Ben will sell out a 40 thousand /60 thousand stadium.

Do you prefer to see Jaron Boots Ennis wait around hoping? Crawford has yet to settle his rematch with Spence. Why don't you address Ennis' being so passive looking for other fights, instead of just talking?

I'm gonna keep it real. This is a duck by Terence Crawford. That rematch clause is all smoke and mirror. It was supposed to commence in December of 2023 at welterweight.

However, that's going to expire because Spence has made it abundantly clear that he can no longer make the 147lbs weight division. So it's back to the drawing board.

So, therefore Bud could defend his undisputed welterweight crown against Jaron Boots Ennis if he really wants to. He could challenge Ennis as a tuneup fight for Errol or Canelo.

However, I cannot blame him if he does decide to not to fight him because he has nothing to prove and everything to lose. Besides, it's a very high risk and low reward fight anyhow in which Bud could easily lose.

Ennis is a megafight, just not for the general public, but for hardcore fans, we know.

I can't blame Crawford, take the bigger profile fights for less risk. He's a truly great fighter, but he may be winding down his career.

Ennis might have too much at this point, but would love to see that fight, which we won't see.

Right. The rematch needs to be addressed and people following Crawford around need to press him for answers. The rematch has to have an expiration date on it.

Said it before, I'll say it again.

If this were Mayweather, the majority of you would call it ducking.

Ennis doesn't make fights happen though and you know pbc / showtime affiliated fighters have been struggling to even fight twice a year.

No question Ennis, if it's up to him, should be fighting at least three times next year, wait for no one and let his performances create some buzz.

This doesn't change the fact that Crawford is more interested in a circus fight than in Ennis. It's understandable from his perspective, I just don't understand why anyone else would be okay with that.

And you do realize that Boots was offered the fight pre Spence and he said no? And that now Boots is calling for the fight knowing Bud has a rematch?

Why aren't you calling for Spence to hurry up and name a date?

Also you do realize it is prizefighting? Guys want the most money, the biggest fights?

Do you even know any of that? Because you seem to ignore the logical stuff. Why?
Sir, I am from a different generation of boxing where there was only one champion and he usually fought the #1 contender. I have been watching boxing for over 45 years and started watching my first fight when Ali fought Ken Norton the first time. Back then everybody fought everybody and didn't wait for the other guys to age out or lose his abilities in the ring. I remember the start of Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Larry Homes, Hagler, Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, etc etc all of their damn careers. Back in those days champions fought the #1 contender because the best fought the best.

It isn't about ignoring the logical stuff but expecting Crawford to fight Spence and then down the line fight Boots. If you read some of my later threads then you would have seen this. I am not the only one mentioning Bud's reluctance to fight Boots. But for some reason you seem to be singling me out. Go find someone else to f%%k with because I know boxing and know it well.

If you don't like my comments then gloss over them and move on.

And you think Ennis vs Crawford is easy to make.
