Is it fair to label Andrade a fraud?

This is not true. Canelo and Ggg absolutely avoided him and dazn allowed it to happen.

Dazn had the ability to unify the division and chose not to because of the very real possibility Andrade beats both.

I get it- he wasn’t fan friendly, had no support, and dazn was in the business to get subscribers.

I guess we will never know.

Good thing HBO did the mw tourney or Bhop woulda been Andrade.

My opinion is that Andrade was and still is an excellent fighter. Just because he got beat doesn’t mean he’s a fraud. He can hang with the other top guys at 168. Just because Benevidez did that to him doesn’t mean others will beat him. Jesus Christ, this is what the sport has become…You lose a fight and you become a bum all of a sudden?!

Andrade objectively rejected fights with Jermell, Korobov, Janibek and Parker.

I can’t really recall anybody objectively rejecting the chance to fight Andrade aside from Saunders.

Andrade brought nothing to the table, he wasn’t avoided he was irrelevant.

He didn’t look very skilled on Saturday, looked out of his depth almost instantly. Perceived lesser fighters have given Benavidez far more problems.

Andrade never proved himself. There will always be question marks over his ability.
What happens if he gets the ggg and canelo fights?

It is clear why they didn’t- because he was definitely capable of beating both GGG and Canelo.
There's always a possibility, but it doesn't look good that his first major step up fight, he not only loses, but gets stopped. Of course David, Canelo and Golovkin are 3 different fighters but it says a lot that when the going got tough, he wanted a way out. He would probably have the most success against Golovkin because of his age (unless it was a "younger" version of GGG), but based off what we saw and have been saying, Andrade tends to fade and against those 3, he would most likely lose.

Both smash him to pieces. Andrade never proved he belonged at that level and based on the Benavidez fight he was way below it.

We will never know. The Benavidez fight is way after the fact.

Andrade isn’t elite, we agree. I just think he got shafted.

Canelo and Golovkin both proved themselves at a far higher level than Andrade.

He doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as those guys tbh.

He only has himself to blame really. Rejected multiple opportunities.

Yes but he didn’t get the opportunity. Maybe he does lose. Or maybe hes Jermain Taylor going against Bhop.

If you want to hold him not fighting other names against him, no problem.

However, in context, he signed with dazn because of the way fights got made. He was prevented from getting those fights by the very people he signed with.

Or maybe he wasn’t and based on what he’s showed us it’s highly likely he wasn’t.
