Oh **** lads, he's threatening to do damage over the internet again!

I've been around long enough to know that the idiots who talk the loudest are usually overcompensating for the fact that they have no real substance when it comes down to it. I've literally seen these types of people crumble under pressure. And you're just another one of them. Full of bluff and bluster on a Boxing forum for years now. Threatening violence when the only footage you put up of you thumping a heavy bag got you laughed off the forum for a period of time. You had chit with the late LarryX (R.I.P.), and he would have filled you in, but you still gave him grief on the daily. You live in America, I live in England, you ain't gonna do chit, stop chatting chit. If you knocked on my front door, after threatening me on here, you'd be sorry lad lol.

If you were genuinely competing on a BKFC card, I'd watch it for entertainment, I'm a big fan of BKB. But it's the way you say things, "Has anyone heard of this BKFC? Oh, cos I'm fighting on a show next year in X place, versus whoever, whenever... What shall I do to train?"

So how did this opportunity come about? Have you been competing lately? You have signed a contract against an opponent to be announced? What weight class? Did you have to attend the tryouts? If so, where was that? How did you find the application process? Do you know how much you are getting paid? Have you met any other fighters who will be on the card?

Nah mate you're just a never-has-been from America, who takes his frustrations out on other internet users. The majority of your posts here are either you threatening violence on other posters, or you living out fantasies in the combat sports world. You have made ridiculous claims many times now to be a professional athlete, to have wins over past and present fighters, to have won amateur tournaments, to have considered crossing over into MMA, and now you are competing in the BKFC at or around 50 years old. You are an idiot. Anyone here with a rational mind can see it. You have done nothing and you will do nothing.

This thread is about Filip Hrgovic. I am one of the people who hyped him out of the Amateurs, remember well when he lost to Joe Joyce in the WSB. Since then he hasn't set the World on fire, but in the last 18 months, even after the gift decision against Zhilei Zhang, the Hrgovic hype train has started to pick up serious pace. I've witnessed it happening. We now see people claiming one of Fury, AJ, Usyk, and/or Wilder are ducking Hrgovic. He is being used to fill the void left by Luis Ortiz as the bogeyman. But on paper, nothing out of the ordinary has happened. The Zhang fight left more questions than answers, and his resume beyond that is very sparse. Doesn't make sense to me where the hype comes from, so I made this thread to better understand it. But it's clear to me that people either agree with me or disagree but can't give a clear answer as to what Hrgovic has down as a Pro to show that he should be feared and hyped as a shoo-in for World Champion status. Personally, I am still waiting for his career to catch fire. Seeing him turn his back countless times in the Zhang fight doesn't sit well with me either.

The only times I have mentioned Fury or Wilder is when encouraging the trolls (yourself) to keep it on-topic. Grow up, old man.

No problem overating flip. Once he loses then, the only thing we did wrong was overrated him, no harm done. But fighters don't fight so they can get away with pretending they're good for longer.

I don't think you pay attention to the ratings, where Hrgovic is the top 10 in both Ring Magazine ratings and Box Rec

Do you realize many of the other guys who are ranked in the top ten are over 35?

Hrgovic's opponents record at time he fought them is 300 - 49-1 which is a very good 85.9% winning record.

The names Ruiz, Ortiz, Parker, and Hunter passed on the chance to fight him because they would lose.

I would pick him over any man a fight 6 months from now when his top competition is even older than they are ( 35+ ) now.

Hrgovic is a good boxer and very good puncher who stand at 6'6" and has a 82" reach. He fights around 245 lbs, but IMO would be better off at 240. At age 31 he is in his prime.

Why don't your compare him to Fury, or past heavyweight champions in when they had 16 fights?? I AM CALLING YOU OUT. You asked a genuine question. I have replied with some detail.

Take no notice of the juggernuts of the forums hugh. I've followed Hrgovic since the David Haye camp where he gave a great account of himself and caused a buzz on the British amateur scene at the time. He is definitely a good fighter, personally, I wish he had been in some tastier matchups by now. We can argue all day about who ducked who, and why this or that never happened, but it doesn't change the fact he is missing out on being in the bigger fights. Anyone who would test him and answer some of the outstanding questions. Whyte, Bakole, Ajagba, Zhang II, Frank Sanchez, Jared Anderson? How can Filip go into fights with the Furys and AJ of the World, without this experience? His best win was against a Macedonian nobody's ever heard of before or since, and his next fight is against Mark de Mori. The same Mark de Mori who took a dive against a hamstrung David Haye nearly 8 years ago! Madness, and frustrating as a Boxing fan.

Your asking way to much from a guy who doesn’t watch fights , he watches Fury . It’s a dead on arrival type person here , once you ask him something outside of any Fury fights he’s lost which shows his intelligence making a thread people answered fir him but has no understanding of it still . Claims a lot and if he’s followed Hrgovic he’s really slow and or very inept abilities to comprehend and is trying really hard to look dumb ? Lol

Tyson Fury is 4 years older than Filip Hrgovic. When Fury was 31, he beat Deontay Wilder TKO7 to become a two-time World Champion, completing one of the greatest Boxing comebacks of recent times. Improving his record to 30-0-1 (21 KO). He had ended one of the longest-ever Heavyweight reigns, beating Wladimir Klitschko in his own castle, in Germany. He'd also taken Dereck Chisora's 0 in Chisora's hometown, and had a win over Steve Cunningham, in Cunningham's neck of the woods on the East Coast of America. By this point, Fury had held the following titles: English, British, Irish, European, Commonwealth, IBF World, IBO World, Lineal (2x), RING Magazine (2x), WBA Super, WBC World, WBO Inter-Continental, WBO International, and WBO World. Hrgovic has held a couple of International titles in comparison.

HE did NOT fight Wilder in his first 16 fights! But he lost on a fair score card vs fat Jon McDermott and was kneed down by some score Russian On his 20 fight he was floored by former cursier weight Cunningham who was 36 I think at the time and winner is 1 or his last 3 matches.

Fury down in round two, Cunningham down in round seven. Fury deducted a point in round five for a headbutt.[/QUOTE

Try comparing Hrgovic to Fury in their first 16 fights.
