Why cant they just do 12 rounds for title fights like the men. The 3 mins could also be for title fights as well.Comment

I only watched it because I had a bet on some fights on that card and ema kozin to win was one of the fights I had but it was a tough watch just so poor in terms of quality. It even made 10x2 rounds seem like foreverComment

Womens boxing is bad enough with 10x2s and them going hell for leather.
There is rarely knockdowns let alone knockouts and would be even less with them having to pace themselves better.
Like just put it to 3 already, get it over with, we'll see its even more unbearable than ever and then we can change it back.Comment

I have no doubt that fighters such as Cameron, Shields, Taylor, Braekhus, Persoon, Bopp, Estrada, Marshall, Baumgardner, Mayer, Serrano, Jonas, McCaskill, etc could do 12x3.
But in reality there are only a few women's divisions with more than 5 good fighters in them. So fighting more rounds of longer lengths is just going to shine a bigger light on the gap between the legitimate talent in women's boxing and the pretenders.
Ultimately I still think they have to make the change, but there are definitely going to be growing pains.Comment

All Taylors fights are exactly the same.
Looks alright for four rounds then gasses and her technique goes out of the window and everything is forced. Head down, flailing away with her eyes closed like a toddler to barely hold onto a close and often debatable decision.
She has four good 2 minute rounds in her.
She hasn't the stamina for 12x3, she doesn't even for 10x2
As accomplished as she is, she is more suited to the amateur system.
12x3 would only possibly suit Serrano or Shields as she has the ring I.Q too pull it off but why would she when she easily gets the job done in 10x2 min rounds, its not like she'd be getting paid more.Comment

It took her a couple of more months for her to recover than it took Serrano, before they fought against other opponent's.Comment
