That was a true casual statement right there. That was funny tho I'll give you that.
Now that statement right there is something i'd expect from someone who's afraid to fight. As I stated, the boxing ring is the wrong place for someone who doesnt want to be hit. There's nothing wrong with that, boxing isn't for everyone. There's other sports where the chance of getting hit isnt the very foundation of the sport. maybe shakur would be better at fencing, because that's what he looked like last night.

Now the other guys have a reason to fight him if they wanna be champion. If anything, his stock went up one way or the other. Fair weather "fans" are gonna criticize him now, then if he puts on a great performance in his next fight, the bandwagon gonna be full again like it's happened with every fighter at some point. Real fans should be hoping he gets a shot at the other big names in and around his division. That's what boxing is all about for the fans.
His stock went down because no one is going to want to watch his next fight.

And any thoughts of him headlining a PPV just went down toilet.

Just because anyone is critiquing the performance that was displayed, doesn't mean they are "crying" that the fight was boring. Are you "crying" about people's complaints regarding the fight? Or are you debating what people's expectations are for fighters?
Are those serious questions? Almost everybody is complaining about the fight being boring and almost everybody is complaining about Stevenson not looking like the dominant fighter they had expected/seen him to be like the were expecting an action fight or something. I'm just stating it wasn't a great performance, but he did what he had to do against a tough guy to look good against. Period. Don't know where I'm "crying" when I'm just stating facts to all the kids here than can't seem to grasp em. You gotta be trolling asking those questions. Where you been at this whole time?

I didnt say that you were crying, I'm saying that you are complaining that people are complaining about Stevenson's performance, which can be interpreted as being the same. If you label their complaints as crying, cant the same be said of you? My point was and is that you're debating the merits of the fight, just like everyone else is doing. No "crying" by anyone.

DLS is a heavy handed guy and Stevenson fought exactly how he should've against a big puncher like him. Like it or not, he did what he was supposed to do: Stay out of harm's way and he came out with the win. Just like you and everybody else here, yes the fight was not entertaining, but if he did open up to make it entertaining and took an L trying please fans, all of you guys complaining that he was boring would be trashing him harder for losing. Can't have it both ways. DLS shoulda found a way to cut off the ring better to keep him from moving around and force the fight instead of boxing with him like he's the better boxer.
Of course not every fighter is the same or fights the same way but boxing should be judged the same way. Boxing shouldnt be judged catering to 1 style or judged with the perconception that a boxer has to fight a certain way to win. Both boxers should land effective punching and attempt to take ring generalship.

Nobody is saying Shakur shouldve played, you hit me, I hit you. And its 100% ok to use your feet, in fact your feet should be your first form of defense but you shouldnt use your feet to avoid a fight, a punch yes and to set up a shot yes, not jump away and not do anything.

"The boxing ring is the wrong place for someone who doesn't wanna be hit". Buddy nobody wants to or likes to get hit. If you actually boxed before and was actually a student of the game at some point, you would know the name of the game is hit and don't get hit. That's fundamental boxing knowledge. That first statement on your other one was bad enough, but dam this one made you look even worse and more full of it. C'mon dude tighten up. You making this too easy for me. Lol

Clearly, you do not understand boxing. Some people don't mind being hit and aren't afraid of being hit.

That's on the opponent to negate all of that. You don't want a guy to keep moving around, then cut off the ring. Was saying all night for DLS to cut off the ring more. Instead, he chose to stand in front of him and box with Stevenson and allow him to control how and where the fight would be fought. Lack of experience for DLS combined with Stevenson having quicker feet. You allow a fighter that you know moves alot to move alot, that's on the other guy. He allowed Stevenson to do what he wanted to do. Can't knock Stevenson when you've seen all his fights and know that's what he does.
