No one else Joyce fought was supposed to knock him out . Zhang is his first actual true power puncher he’s fought so far besides Dubois , the shot Zhang landed was more timing and a short shot from the side Joyce never saw coming . Zhang is basically a bigger version of Ortiz as a puncher he doesn’t have the acculmulative stoppages to say he’s the hardest puncher , had he knocked Hrgovic down as well I’d give it a thought but that wasn’t a clean knockdown . Hrgovic actually knocked him down but the ref missed it .

Joshua , Wilder , are considered the hardest punchers , Hrgovic, Mahkmudov , Bakole and Zhang can all punch all those guys have heavier hands then Wilder but hitting harder is different . It’s impossible to say who hits harder out if them they punch differently,in terms of just raw power I’d take Mahkmudov outside Joshua and Wilder on the eye test if he hits you clean he struggles in spot’s because he’s not as swift setting punches up .

Deontay Wilder has been in the same position as Fury since their trilogy 'Wilder vs Parker needs for me to prove that his current form is still top level' etc.

Did any version of Wilder prove he was top level?

I'm still not convinced. His best is Ortiz and a draw against Fury.

This is why mandatories are important. It forces champions to fight ranked guys who they didn't hand pick. No mandatories, no credibility.

There is no flawed logic . Wilder callouts are just that and almost always bc he’s involved in other fights . He swerved Parker bc he knew Stiverne was a guaranteed win and milked it for 9 months without having to fight . It’s not about who’s scared it’s about who’s actually looking fir the fights and we see who that is because it shows it on a resume .

What happens now is irrelevant it’s like rewarding someone for doing their job in the first place he should have been fighting Parker level guys consistently throughout his career but he hasn’t .

In terms of being dangerous, Wilder is a top level danger in the game 'The danger element has taken him a long way in the game'.

When Tyson Fury beat Deontay Wilder, when Fury got up off the deck 'I honestly think that Danger element of Wilder took a hit. Lets also factor in that Wilder was ****** out by Fury in the third fight'.

The best wins of this Heavyweights era that any Heavyweight has achieved are:

Fury's win vs Kiltschko.
Joshua's win vs Kiltschko.
Fury's win vs Wilder 2.
Wilder's win vs Ortiz 1 & 2.

So I would say that Wilder has proven himself to be a top level fighter in the past. But he has been tested less, and is not as proven 'At this level compared to Anthony Joshua'.

Wilder vs Fury III, that fight I have never regarded as a high level fight 'For all we know, we were watching two fighters not really in great form but in a good fight'. Well I know what I saw, two fighters all over the place making unforced errors 'Both right there to be ****** out, from very early on in the fight'.

Joshua vs Usyk I & II skill for skill was a higher level Heavyweight match up than Wilder vs Fury I, II, & III.

Since Fury vs Kiltschko, Joshua vs Uysk I & II has been the highest level match up that has happened within the Heavyweight Division.

This level of match up skill for skill will only be potentially surpassed when and if Tyson Fury fights Oleksandr Uysk.

Note: But back to Deontay Wilder, I believe this fight vs Parker 'Is a fight were he must prove he is still a top level fighter. If Parker survives the full 12 rounds, or pushes Wilder then a lot of Wilder's reputation takes a hit' etc.

The best wins of this Heavyweights era that any Heavyweight has achieved are:

Fury's win vs Kiltschko.
Joshua's win vs Kiltschko.
Fury's win vs Wilder 2.
Wilder's win vs Ortiz 1 & 2.

I would have Usyk's wins against Joshua. And Ruiz win against Joshua. And Joshua's win against Ruiz.

All rated as better wins than beating Ortiz who beat no-one.

I don't doubt Wilder's danger element. We just never saw if it carried through to bring able to win at the top level.
