This. Not a chance this happens.

At least Parker is a lot smarter and durable than the Nordic Nightmare.
Parker is still firing but it’ll be a shock if this fight happens, Wilder won’t take it.

I’ll bet you Parker demolishes that fraud. Parker is easily better than Wilder.

Was my first thought too. It seems like a crazy fight for Wilder to take.

Obviously Wilder has a leveler, but I just can't see Wilder dealing with a solid fighter like Parker. Decent size, decent technique, decent toughness... he's just a decent all round fighter.

When these fights get made it usually means they know something that we don't know. Now I know Parker is diminished but they must really believe he's finished.

It's nuts to me that he'd be wilder's second or third best opponent, which speaks volumes. I couldn't pick a winner though as I think Parker's best chance is to get inside but his inside game is lacking.

But he's fighting a guy with zero inside game.

Turning it into any kind of boxing event works in his favour.

                Standing back he'll get starched.

I can see him outboxing Wilder comfortably for a points win or I can him outboxing Wilder comfortably for most of the fight until he takes a breather and gets caught. For me it's also a question of how much either guy has left. It's why I'm actually interested in the fight, more so than AJ Wallin which I think is a straightforward win for AJ

Wilder tried to fight Parker for years when he had the WBC belt.
Parker was scared to death & now has limited options.
Wilder sleeps him in the mid rounds.
Some of these comments rooted in Wilder hate are comical

                      Wilder needs to fight.
                      Parker will fight anybody.
Top 10 guys fighting each other.
                      Sounds good me.
Wilder doesn't NEED to fight, he barely wants to fight.

He has fought 1 round in 2 years by choice. He could have stayed active if he wanted but has chosen not to, he is just waiting out for some big last payday. He's semi retired.

Of course, this supposed Parker fight could be part of a deal that leads to an even bigger payday for him v AJ. I can think that's really the only reason Wilder would take this Parker fight at relatively short notice.

Sounds to be like the Saudis have said to AJ and Wilder they can have their bigger payday against each other, but they have to fight on this event first and in good fights.
