Horrible fights! AJ (if he is going to fight Wilder has has to fight a guy who is right-hand happy) vs DDD or Efe and Wilder (if he is going to fight AJ he needs to fight a guy who throws combos) vs Ruiz. Horrible fights!

Didn't Saudis just lose a ton of money on the Fury trash card?

      This card isn’t happening.

That being said, Wilder vs Parker would be very interesting. Parker was KO’d by Joyce bcs of exhaustion. He landed some quality right hands on Joyce. I doubt ”Twerkin” Deontay will be able to stand them. Fury knocked Deontay senseless and we just watched Fury land clean on Ngannou and not leave a mark in 10 rounds. However it’s also curious how Parker would handle the windmills.

Wallin is garbage. His only claim to fame was going the distance against a one-eyed Fury. He only has a jab and his tippy tappy footwork that keeps him safe against guys like Breazeale and Gassiev. I doubt Joshua will just walk after him taking jabs to the face all night. Joshua probably has a better jab anyway. If Wallin was to win it would be another colossal stinker.

However these fights will only ever happen in comments sections.

Wilder only goes full windmill once his opponent is buzzed. I reckon Parker would uppercut his way out.

Let us see if that fight happens. If it does, Dec. 23 is not that far that we cannot wait to see. My prediction is Joshua will KO Wallin, possibly even quicker than he did against Helenius though that is not a given. Wallin is no Usyk that will outbox Joshua nor a huge puncher AJ would be afraid of. As I said before, the only reason he is even recognized today is because Fury got a big cut in their fight and even then Wallin couldn't come close to winning that. Prior to the Fury fight, people called him a bum. He is just an average fighter at best and his best win is against Dominic Breazeale but it went the distance.

Since I am the one not watching HW boxing, can you please tell me one top-50 HW Gassiev has beaten yet?

As others posting on here, I'm suspect of this card actually happening. But, if it does, here are some thoughts:

They have AJ and Wilder both fighting guys without a lot of pop and who are better pure boxers than either of them. Therefore, we have punchers vs boxers. And both are credible enough opponents. Both punchers are expected to KO the boxers. While these fights should be competitive for a while, I don't see Wallin or Parker being any real threat to AJ and Wilder.

I think Wallin has the better chance of an upset, distance win, but it's no surprise they have AJ in with a guy who isn't a risk to knock him out. Seems to me it's part of the continued confidence building strategy for AJ. And if AJ can't KO Wallin what interest is there, really, in a fight against Deontay?

Parker is always game to get in the ring with whoever and he's tough, but he hasn't shown the extra gear/killer-instinct/power to beat guys at the highest level. He should give Wilder some rounds, though, which he sorely needs. The plan for Wilder is to show his pre-Fury II & III scary, sensational, devastating KO prowess remains against a high-caliber fighter.

As for which fight is the main and which is the co-main, I think Joshua is the bigger global star who will bring more of his own fans to the show, so it's likely he fights in the main event. But Wilder is fighting the more well-known opponent and that fight should be the more exciting, edge-of-your-seat affair. Which is why I think that fight should be the main event. However, if Wilder-Parker is first, it might put some pressure on AJ to perform more spectacularly. Maybe they'll end up doing a media event coin toss to determine who headlines the show.

I hope AJ and Wilder both come away with KO victories and their next fights are against each other in Spring 2024. While I like Wallin and Parker as people and fighters, neither of them bring excitement to the HW division. But, hey, if they both come away with upset KO victories my interest is piqued.

No Joshua-Wilder, but they're on the same card. WTF are we doing here?

              I hate boxing politics...

The only thing I believe about this event is that it won't happen.

The two dossers are quick to arrange other fights, but can't do it for a Saudi event between themselves after negotiating for so long? But they wan to fight each other, yeah...

I believe AJ VS Wilder was a real thing till the Saudis pull the plug for whatever reason.

Maybe, I can't tell. But I don't like how the Saudis are poisoning the sport.

I'd be shocked to the bones if Wilder agreed to fight Parker.
