Will Usyk Be Considered The Best of this era

If Usyk beats Fury he will surely be considered not only the best of his era but one of the best of all time.
He will have unified 2 divisions in only 22 fights with all his title wins coming on the road. Three of his title wins were over world champions fighting in their home towns. Two of them were over undefeated champs. If he beats Fury that will be 3 undefeated world champs Usyk has turned over.
Add to that his World Championship and Olympic gold medals as an amateur, plus his undefeated run at super heavyweight in the WSB.Comment

It's hard to say man. So many of the top 5 avoid each other, that there can always be questions as to who can beat who. Even if Usyk gets by Fury, could Usyk have taken Wilder's brutal right hand the same way Fury? As much as AJ such a drama queen, I would like to at least see both Fury and Wilder face him as well. There are question mark fights to be had still, yet I don't see a lot of these fights all that easy to make based on how many years it's been where people would have preferred to have already seen them and they haven't been made.Comment

I at minimum want to see the fight v Fury. Would also like to see if he can survive Zhang and Wilder.Comment

Era hardly begun yet. Fury and Usyk are in no way cemented as the top 2 until they have numerous title defenses against various opponents. We're talking double digit defenses.
Fury only had 1 title defense against someone he never fought before - Whyte. And Usyk's title defense against Dubous he arguably lost but got saved by the ref. Fury lost to Ngannou and got saved by the judges. By the end of this era, neither Fury or Usyk might be considered the best. They may get beat several times over. Or one of them might prove themselves as the best with a long title run. Just too soon to tell imo.Comment

The era is over when Fury and Usyk fight for Undisputed and the winner fights vs Joshua and or Wilder. 2015 - present. Basically the post Wlad Klitschko era. If Fury or Usyk won't be considered the best Heavyweight from 2015-2025 who will be?

The era is almost completely over. Fury looks like hes at the end, Joshua and Wilder are both probably past their prime and Usyk is 37. They are all over 35. A few more fights and this era of Heavyweight boxing is done.
