Poor Eddie. With all his stars either on drug suspensions or in rehab trying to get their courage back, Eddie has nothing better to do than to troll other boxers and give free advice which nobody gives a sheet about. Eddie is hoping Katie Taylor can save the failing company.

Interesting he didn’t suggest Joshua value has declined after losing 3 of 4 to live opponents

It doesn't really make much sense for Ngannou to move down to fight fringe contenders in boxing. The man is 37 yrs old, not 27. He does not have time to build a conventional career, nor the need to. He just fought the #1 HW with no ranking at all, and a majority of fans thought he won. He has all the credibility and star power he needs, so why would he risk losing to a fringe, no-name guy? Francis should fight the big names in boxing (AJ, Wilder, then rematch Fury), then call it a career. He doesn't need a ranking or even an ABC world title (lineal is sufficient). It seems to be a far better story that an unranked interloper fought and took out the supposed HW elite of the 2020s and then just sailed off to become a movie star or a poet. This guy already has a life worthy of a Hollywood movie, but if he pulls that feat off, they'll make a Marvel movie for him.

Note: I intentionally left out Usyk because styles make fights and Francis probably has a 5% chance of winning that one.

Unfortunately, in terms of viewership, this is probably true, as sad as it is.

But let’s focus on the silver-lining here — there’s going to be less of these silly boxing/MMA matchups in the future. Fury didn’t even lose and yet the fight did potentially irreparable damage to his boxing image.

Ngannou has just decked and busted up Fury mate. Fury never once really hurt Ngannou, and even skill for skill? Ngannou did not look out of place in fight.

Even if Fury was at his worst, he should of really been showing flashes of greatness 'And prove that he was a genuine all-time great fighter'.

Mike Tyson was able to still show flashes of greatness in all of his loses, even when he was way under par 'Against Franics Botha, Mike Tyson produced that type of performance'.

Tyson Fury is in all honesty, is just not as great as YOU and his other hardcore fans have claimed him to me. And I believe his true current form was unearthed on the weekend.

Fury should do way more than just jab Ngannou for 12 rounds in a rematch, do you think that would be deemed as a great performance? On some level, you don't believe in Fury's greatness 'Tyson Fury if he was as great as he claims, should be beating up and stopping Ngannou'.

Note: Boxing is about talking points, debates, opinions, stories and themes 'There is a story and theme now, with the Ngannou vs Fury match up. Fury's genuine true form was suspect even before this fight, due to him barely fighting at World level. But now his form is not suspect, is Fury really the worlds number 1 Heavyweight on his current form? How many more top Heavyweights would of pushed Fury, or potentially beaten him in the weekend?

Does anyone here, genuinely believe Joshua watched the weekends fight petrified of Fury's abilities? Joshua has more speed than Ngannou, more proven power, better endurance, and is a by far more superior boxer skill for skill.

The standing of Fury vs Uysk, has been hit big time 'The fight is not as big as it was before mate, nowhere near' etc.

Fury had a bad night at the office, it happens, just like Tyson has a bad night against Douglas.

Francis was really good, he didn't look like a bum did he? He's got skills and physically he's a beast.

In fact if that version of Francis had fought Joshua, AJ would've probably got knocked out.

As long as Fury beats Usyk next, then all will be forgotten.

Absolutely ! ... the biggest fight in boxing is Fury v Usyk whether Hearn likes it or not ...It would be great to have Wilder v Ngannou on the undercard ...wow! Maybe if Hearn is nice to the main man he could slot in Joshua on the undercard with a rematch against Franklin and see if he can improve on his own dreadful performance . Joshua seems desperate to get on Fury's undercard I just hope Frank gives him a chance, it can't be any fun struggling to sell out the 02 .After this bonanza .Ngannou is a breath of fresh air and is now a big money star in the land of money ,what a class act .'Fighters' wouldn't want any thing to do with him after his great and awesome performance but he's big money so we'll see .Proper fighter!!

Cancel me if you wish but I agree with Hearn's assessment.

Fury has taken all of the steam out of the Usyk unification fight and he needs to fix that, first and foremost.

What would evander holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Ray Mercer or even the champions for a day types of the early 80s (Weaver, Dokes etc) done to Ngannou had they fought him in their primes?

These AJ fans talking about levels makes me laugh.

Fury is still the only man in the division to dethrone two long reigning champions in their backyards, Joshua has never beaten a real champion in his life!

Tyson Fury at his best, is the #1 HW in the world. Can he get back to his best? I guess we'll find out against Usyk, but one bad performance doesn't cancel out his previous achievements.
