Styles make fights. Most Cotto opponents have had a style which favored him heavily , others were able to make it to 11 or 12 rounds , and one had the style to beat him , the other one had the skills but neither the heart or knowledge , Cotto being the underdog shoulnt be based on previous fights , but styles , and skills , paquiao's style is very difficult for a lot of ppl , I am Puerto Rican and want nothing more than a Cotto win , but I am a boxing fan first , and i love , appreciate , and have a lot of respect for the pac-man , he is an awesome exciting very skilled fighter which is not an easy opponent for anyone. Anyone who bases his Pac win over cotto on previous fight is a dumbass , non of them have faced a fighter like they are about to . Cotto- has never fought a fighter like paquiao , and the other way around , paquiao has the skills , ring experience , and heart to put on a one-sided show in there. I Pick paquiao to win , but i want Cotto to win. I wish it want Pac destroying cotto , but if it happens then it happens.

I watched Clottey-Cotto recently and watched Plastercheato-Cotto again today and let me tell you - Cotto is without a doubt a different fighter. Those shots he was landing on Cheato's face were crisp, rapid and in bunches from the opening round. Against Clottey he was nowhere near as fearsome.

Damn you Plastercheato and damn your cheating.

Cotto is not damaged goods. If he wins i bet people will be saying even a damged goods cotto was good enough to beat Pac. Shows how overated pac was that a damaged goods cotto was still too good.
          I can hear it now.

Hmmm....maybe because Clottey and Margarito's defense are insanely different!

Cotto's punches were pinging off Margarito's head like a pinball machine and Clottey's high guard didn't allow to many clean shot's to his head??

            Just a thought.

You're never the same when you get KTFO and have to surrender to a cheater. Cotto will never have that kind of confidence back and it showed against Clottey.

ppl keep underrating Clottey, a few fights ago Cotto would've probly lost, he took that fight at the right time imo. cant imagine Pac looking good vs Clottey.

Though Cotto was not directly calling out Pac but he badly needed Pac. In fact it was part of his contract extension(no pac no contract) that made this fight.
