Cottos really doesn't seem as tough as before. even in the Judah fight in which Judah hurt him in the first round he still came back strong. If he looked like he did vs Clottey i think Judah would've had a chance to beat him. Cotto was great against Margarito. He took plaster shots, but he took them because it was the first time.

If margarito gets loaded gloves or Clottey and they have the same fight again Cottos done he can't take the same punishment time and time again without proper rest. But two major back to back fights is asking for too much. Cottos been fighting the most dangerous fighters. How many fighters fought a Mosley, Plasterito, Clottey and then a Pacman? I know he brawls more than he should, but he's still taking a pounding and that fight with Margarito was like being in an accident. That fight will always mark his career as a turning point. Thats why those who cheat should pay the piper.

          it's ******.

          cotto agreed. pacquiao agreed.

          there's no problem.

hell pacquiao is going up 5 lbs. a lot more than cotto is going down.

Now he looks at times confused, concerned, slower and hittable. In his last fight against tough Clottey it was not just the enormous gash but all this variables. I saw him wining the fight really but the only reason why he won was because Clottey dedicated himself to mimic Margarito and forgot punch... bit time mistake!!! Cotto was there for the taking and Clottey was just chasing and chasing and doing nothing, I think Ivan Carderon or Malignaggi would have finished Cotto at that stage.

Now expect on Nov. 14th Manny Pacquiao to once again show how to finish your man when is there for the taking.
You can't judge a fighter who was fighting with just one eye. The huge gash was over his dominant eye which is also his front eye because he fights in a conventional stance. And how can he not be concerned or confused he couldn't see the punches coming, you could see him trying to anticipate the right hand when he thought it was coming. He also made Clottey wary of what was coming back at him. What's more important is that he adapted and fought through it, not only that he won the fight.

People are judging Cotto on a fight where he was seriously handicapped, he was half blind and could have easily pulled out of it and won based off of his early work. After Nov. 14 you'll all see that Miguel's best work is ahead off him.

what does that have to do with anything?

if pac calls out cotto, cotto should have some leverage in the negotiations. he had, the fight's at 145 and not at 141-143

cotto has the belt pac wants and pac has the money cotto wants, simple as that
