It's not as though Tyson Fury is facing a Wrestler who's never Boxed on Saturday.

Sure, it's a boxing match, and Ngannou’s first official one.

    Sure.

    But let's have a look.
Defensively he's got less to worry about, right? No takedowns or kicks coming from Fury under these rules. But if this were an MMA rules fight, what would Ngannou do differently OFFENSIVELY that he's known to do exceptionally well?

He's not a Kickboxer. He can kick, but he's not known as a great kicker. He could certainly shoot for a takedown, but he's no grappler.
Ngannou, like many, is a modern hybrid fighter with a boxing platform tuned for the rules of MMA. Watch each one of his fights and judge for yourself.

Yes, the fight Saturday is in Tyson Fury’s house; but he's facing the best parts of Ngannou, who with only the possible exception of Fedor Emelianenko, Stipe Miocic, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Cain Velasquez, Junior Dos Santos, Jon Jones, Fabricio Werdum and Mirko Filipovic (three of whom Ngannouhas already crushed), he's the best to ever fight in MMA if you toss the protective weight divisions.

That's just some food for thought. This may pose more danger than most expect.

Prediction: Fury knocks him out in six. Ngannou gets congratulations for a good showing.

With the super stacked undercard, that will deliver at least one upset, it's worth the price.

Except it's a lightning bolts only battle.

the winner of this can carry themselves as, i was going to say the ultimate human being, but its actually more than that, 300k years of evolution has led to this face off, the ultimate warrior specimen will stand victorious on that stage and survey their domain, the human race can put forward this righteous individual as a shining beacon to natural selection and safe in the knowledge that the human race is heading in the right direction

Watched some clips and he's a pretty awful boxer.

He's obviously a very strong man, but he has no footwork, his technique is worse than amatuerish, his punches are wild, no jab, no head movement, not even sure he could generate power very well with that technique, especially with bigger gloves.

            He has no chance.

It'll be jab v wild single punches until he quits.

He's certainly a far better grappler than Fury, and yes he does implement that at times. He was struggling in his most recent MMA fight and so switched to taking the opponent down to win.

Only because he blew out his knee (tendons) and couldn't move.

It will, but we'll enjoy that "what if" gut feeling right up until it's over. Then it's on to unification! Which will last maybe 10 weeks before the stripping begins.

                    Good times.
