Tyson Fury fought two stiffs in a row - Seferin and Pianeta - after getting stripped of his title and serving his little suspension for ingesting “uncastrated boar meat” and after apparently being nursed back back to health with the considerable help of an alleged global criminal gangster.

Does that suffice as an example of another ““former heavyweight champ who needed 2
or 3 confidence builder fights”? Or is it only relevant when it involves AJ?

AJ having more tune ups than Fury did when he came back from being 500lbs

Did AJ take 3 years off, balloon up to 500lbs and then take all that weight back off? or did he just have a nervous breakdown when he lost a fight?

              It’s just for AJ.

AJ possibly had some kind of episode. But he stayed active.

Fury had an episode after popping for PEDs and blew up, went on drugs and drink and retired.

Strange that Fury's publicised 'mental health issues' are laudable. Yet guessing that AJ might have mental health issues is fair game to be used as a bat to beat him with.

                You see it don't you?

Eddie Hearn introduced this Saudi oil money thing, so now Wilder don't want to fight in the US anymore. Why would you even rely on it when only few fighters benefit?

I see what? AJ had an Oliver McCall moment in front of the entire world, throwing Usyk's belts out of the ring and trying to fight him and his team after he lost, before grabbing the microphone and cutting a promo and singing a fking song, stealing Usyk's moment. You seem to forget though, Fury was fair game when he was out. AJ and the rest of the HW's used to talk chit about him in his absense too. But Fury came back and that's the end of it.

Fury's return BS fights weren't main events either. Sefari and Pienetta fights were basically opening fights. AJ is main eventing mismatch fights on undercards full of BS Mismatches.

Rocky is fictional and it's pretty obvious from watching his performances that there's still a lack of confidence. Old AJ would have iced Helenius inside 3 rounds. This AJ struggled to let his cross go.

I don't think it'll matter. Wilder will connect sooner or later and I don't see any amount of tinkering with this style making a difference. But his team have gotta do what they believe gives him the best shot to win and as long as the big fight does get made, I don't care what preparation they make.
