I doubt Runny and Huggies are gonna deliver either, truth be told boxing is in a shít spot and has been for years.
Fighters won't take a chance against anyone unless they're overpaid even in 50/50 fights and lots of fighters aren't willing to sell out in their respective big fights…
Eddie thinking he can try and run boxing like Dana runs MMA, firstly it won't happen and secondly belts are too historic so it complicates that "possibility" even further.
Broadcasters should build veto powers into any future contracts with promoters so they can enforce the best fights. If promoters don't like it they can try their luck elsewhere or attempt to create their own broadcaster.
It sounds like HE or others are misusing money more than the broadcasters are doing wrong here. The broadcasters aren't giving mfers a blank check. They deem boxing is worth x so give promoters x to put on shows. If the promoters are overpaying some guys who are underperforming therefore can't make the fights that would perform thats on them not the broadcaster.
