Like Tanks ever going to be in a 5050 fight lol, besides Tank would want clauses, pathetic.

It's about time Haney officially moved on though & dropped those belts, he looked like a middleweight next to Loma.

This fight is not really about the weight class, it is about the competitive rivalry between the two fighters.

So? The fight has to be made at a weight where no fighter can make excuses 'Therefor the event will have more validity'.

Davis should not look to weight drain Haney, more than he already weight drains himself 'I agree that the fight should be at 140 pounds' etc.

        Haney confused me with this.

Haney said he was keeping the 135 belts because he was going back to 135 at some point.

The most lucrative fight at 135 is Tank.

To say the Tank fight has to be at 140 before he’s even won a fight at 140 is a bit much.

I doubt Tank would fight Haney in 2024. By saying this, Haney is effectively telling all of us he isn’t willing to fight Tank in 2024 either.

It's very obvious. Haney is not moving back down to 135. He's using those belts as bargaining chips in negotiations, or use them to effectively shut out Shakur's call outs by pretending to offer 25% split. This is what this sport has devolved into. Hold on to belts even if you don't intend to defend them.

Used to be that if a guy lost the fight and got corrupt cards, or even a very close fight, he'd run it back out of respect for the opponent and out of a sense of proving himself.

Haney is a feather fisted hypejob who shouldn't have a belt and he knows it. He will likely bore us all to death running from prograis and win a terrible ud.

                No. One. Cares.

And to those that defend and support this garbage, you are killing the sport. No one should buy this joke of ppv.
                he beat loma tho lol

Tank beats Haney @ 135 & 140. Because of size & reach with lack of Pacquiao like blazing speed & unlimited punches from various angles Tanks highest weight class to be relevant & good is 140. Do I see him trying to caitch weight weight clause folks from 147, yea yet be will never be a moving force as a real WW. Haney should focus on Prograis for if the Prograis that fought Taylor shows up he should win or lose a very controversial decision,.since its boxing & haney is you younger bigger name.

That he could move back to 135 is one thing, That he could move back without any ill effects is quite another.

First Haney has to beat Prograis, which is far from a sure thing. If he wins, then maybe he could negotiate a catchweight with Tank. I hope not but maybe he could.

If Haney beats Prograis, trust me he won't give a F if Tank won't fight him at 140.
