It was a close fight.. you don’t take the last round off in a close fight. At the end of the day it was Loma’s own doing, just as the Teo fight.. everybody knew Haney’s time was limited at 135. He reportedly missed weight 2/3 times (according to Loma) before he was able to make weight. I get you’re a Loma fan but think logically.. he was not staying at 135, he’d been there since the age of 15.

Haney is the A-side in the Prograis fight when Regis is the DAZN/Matchroom fighter. Haney also got to choose the location of the fight.

That's what kills me. It's almost as if they only followed FMJ after the dlh fight. FMJ put in the work to get where he is. And I'm not a fan by any means but he EARNED his way. Lot of theses new cats, especially Davis, aint earned it.

There's no goddamn way he can make Lightweight fine still Haney is the fking reason they do the weigh ins with no cameras now, and do a fake weigh in five hours later.

              the teo fight?

lmaooo. loma didnt do anything the first half of the fight vs teo, not the case against haney. loma scored the cleaner blows, the more effective punches, he landed combos all throughout the fight. you can slag on a old boxer being set up to pasture vs the house fighter who was young, in prime, undefeated and had the backing and just resigned a new contract with the house promoter for taking off the last round, but i wont.

              a win is a win.

              a robbery is a robbery.

whether it was "close" or not.

loma won that fight but since he is old and in the tail end of his career, boxing does what it does, stole the wiin and gave it to the young, undefeated, new signed house fighter.

you being a messi fan should know better.

maybe not considering the crooked refs bacra had all the time during messi's prime.

Does he think Gervonta cares? Davis will be more than happy to just take one of Haney’s belts and fight Pitbull for it.

This kid must really think he’s an attraction. The fight between the two would sell about 300-400k.

So along with being about 6 inches shorter and having a shorter reach. The face of boxing is supposed to give away a weight advantage as well? Stop it. Garcia is a sucker for even mentioning a rehydration clause when the IBF mandates all championship fights have a 10 pound rehydration clause. Garcia said he felt fine at the weight. He didn't look dehydrated and he had plenty of energy in those early rounds until Tank broke his nose with that uppercut and made him bend the knee lol

boxing is such an unfair sport

nobody puts 3 advantages on the face of boxing, nobody, especially not some social media creation

I mean I don't give a damn about Haney. He is boring as hell, arrogant and has no power. Loma is exciting and has great skill.

Just like Taylor should have rematched Catterall, who beat him, Haney should have immediately asked for a rematch. Just like Taylor, Haney is seen as a total clown now by most.

But whatever. It's why boxing is a third tier sport now.
yeah but haney won the fight, close good technical fight, i enjoyed it, yeah boxing sucks too
