Shakur could’ve taken the low ball offer. Instead he chose to enforce his mandatory status to get a better cut and Haney immediately ditched the division.

Haney is having difficulties making 135, so why try to force this match-up? If Shakur didn't like the terms, there's no point in Haney waiting around when he has most of the leverage. Moving up to face Prograis was the correct move.

I don't even know why this narrative ran all the way to being seen as a serious offer. 60/40 would have been a realistic offer.
