Comments Thread For: Devin Haney Shreds Shakur Stevenson: "If He Really Thought I Was a B!tch He Would've Took The Fight"

The guy is not excited to be going back down to 135, especially if he beats Prograis. Look at him. He's a welterweight!I don't even know why this narrative ran all the way to being seen as a serious offer. 60/40 would have been a realistic offer.
To me, it's Haney's way of saying, "Go away little midget. I'm not interested. Can't even make 135 anymore. I'm focused on moving up." Then ended up saying, "Okay, I'll give you 25 split." End of story.Last edited by maguirre; 10-21-2023, 11:59 AM.Comment

This is what I was wondering about in another thread. If this is true, that's a duck to me. Turning down his biggest payday and a shot at all the belts. It will be interesting to see who he fights instead and how much he makes."It was the most money he would’ve ever made with all his fights put together with that 25%. That’s a fact.”

And it's not surprising Mr. Eddie Hearn joining the 25% split chorus. He'll be one of the beneficiaries in one way or the other being a long lost dad to Haney.Comment

That's never been confirmed. Martin admitted being offered $1 million. Hard to believe Stevenson taking $3 million for an average fight being held on a Thursday! Do you? Is that how generous the Bobfather has become for his top fighters?Last edited by maguirre; 10-21-2023, 12:16 PM.Comment

It's a bogus offer brotha. There's nothing to take as explained by this fellow:
But yeah, I'd like to see Shakie call his bluff and let's see if Hanky's willing to move back down to 135.I don't even know why this narrative ran all the way to being seen as a serious offer. 60/40 would have been a realistic offer.
