Exactly. A win over Loma honestly doesnt mean much unless it's something like Inoue moving up and beating up

Lomo has 3 losses and 2 of them clear, so beating him as a professional doesn't do much for me, he was an exceptional amateur but has been under sized in his last two fights anyhow, lets see you KO Gervonta, Frank Martin and Isaac Cruz then we'll say you are great!

Loma doesn't gain anything fighting or beating Shakur. There are no titles at stake. Loma is fighting for titles, he wants to be undisputed. Shakur should be chasing Haney if he wants to be a champion, and Tank if he wants a big payday. The questions fans should be asking is why won't Shakur accept the 25% he was offered by Haney if he truly believes he can beat him?

The Shakur fight will be for one of the titles that Haney is having to vacate to fight Prograis, from what I heard. I expect Tank will be upgraded via email soon too.

I wonder how Shakur would perform if his home and family was being bombarded though. Loma is from Bilhorod-Dnistrovs'kyi near Odesa Oblast, if memory serves, which has been hit with missiles on more than one occasion. I wouldn't be surprised if Shakur couldn't handle it and had all kinds of "mental health" issues.

I definitely think he is barking an awful lot for someone who turned down the chance to fight for undisputed over a purse split. Haney was willing to bet on himself. Why wasn't Shakur?

Loma should of stayed at 130 and reigned there till retirement. These young "punks" (fimo, haney, shakur) who are way overdue to fight at 140 too damn big and tall.

                Loma’s done.

Shakur isn’t going to prove anything by beating an old, blown-up 130-lb. stylist other than what even the biggest Loma fan knows in his heart.

The tiny Ukrainian’s Napoleon Complex hurt his career. He thought he was too good for size to matter. Well, it did and it does.

Time for Shakur to be beating on Devon, anyway. Boxing’s TV lifeline is running out—better not dawdle.

I think Shakur has a high boxing IQ, but all his talking these days is starting to show he isn't the brightest soul outside the ring.

Said it many times in various threads and will shamelessly repeat them again, but Shakur should've just swallowed his pride for once and taken the Haney offer for the undisputed belts when he had a chance. So Shakur thought 25 is low? Sure, it probably is low for Shakur when looked at it in a vacuum...but it came with the chance of becoming the UNDISPUTED LIGHT WEIGHT CHAMPION in just one fight. What would he have taken? 35-65? 40-60? Surely he wasn't going to expect a 50-50 given the situation at the time? that extra 10 or 15 was worth what, a few hundred thousand?

Think of all the time he has wasted so far as a beltless 135 fighter, the typical high risk minimal reward opponent that no one would want to fight. If he was "UNDISPUTED LIGHT WEIGHT CHAMPION" Shakur Stevenson, he would be raking in fights with big names way more easily than now. Tank will probably still duck him, but other than that he would've probably made waaaay more in total than what he's made since then in fights.

Last we heard Lomachenko was focusing on Ukraine. He hasn't booked another fight. Maybe Shakur is next, we'll see. Would be a good fight, obviously Shakur the favorite due to age and size.
