Comments Thread For: Oscar De La Hoya Doubts Devin Haney Would Ever Fight William Zepeda

Call him simply lucky, controversial results, that he ducked everyone notable, or had a perfect timing or whatever, but in the end when they write the history books, Devin Haney's name will be on the list as the first ever light-weight boxer to have become undisputed in the four belt era.
He is still only 24 and now moving up to 140. Unless it is for a Tank payday, there is no reason for Haney to attempt to come back down for the likes of Zepeda.

Haney isn't making 135 again. All that whining about making weight for the Loma fight and going up to 140? Yeah, not happening.
There's plenty of big fights. Shakur, Loma, and Tank. Oscar could make Zepeda v Ryan Garcia in house.

I doubt it too.
Haney only fights guys after they've looked bad or lost. Kambo everyone knew he was a weak link, Loma after looking bad against Teo and Ortiz and now Regis after looking bad against zorilla.
Zepeda high output and power is all bad for Haney.
