yeah thats called manufacturing a star. its a bad thing. you dont want someone to be a star who wont fight anyone good. why dont you get this? also we dont really know how big of a star he is since the only big fight he had he was more of the b-side and he hasnt fought since. here are his numbers when he was the a-side

    Hector Garcia – 200K Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero – 275K Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz – 100K Mario Barrios – 200K Leo Santa Cruz – 100K

nothing too amazing there but lets see how his numbers are in his next easy fight and if the grift is truly working. will people tune in to see him knock over tomato cans and teeny tiny men?

The top guys in some orgs and those ranked by Ring and the like aren't gospel. They are corrupt, too, like the alphabets. I don't respect those. Real fans see what they see.

I wasn't even saying whether it was good to be the star in boxing or not. It's not me, it's the boxing fans. People know what they are seeing.

William is a damn good fighter who although he has a considerable amount of wins, he's no where near the accomplished fighter/champion Haney is.
hahaha... JoJo Diaz hurt Haney TWICE.!! Zep gave a one sides beating & hurt him at 1 point. Haney is CLEARLY OVERRATED & yes Zep will bust his ass too

blah, blah, blah....but what is not propaganda, since Haney is missing one of those belts and may move out, is that Stevenson beats the shiznit out Zepeda...again, what you think?

I don't know if you know my history on this site as a hardcore Zepeda fan. I was on that wagon since even before the Tanajara fight, before anybody really knew him. The Tanajara win sealed the deal for William as one of the top lightweight contenders. I used to rank him above Haney before Haney even had any of those meaningless, and crooked belts.

The point is 140 is easy for Zepeda. I wouldn't be surprised if he himself is struggling to make weight at 135. I remember one fight where he couldn't make 135. He might be much better at 140.

If it happens, this might be the FIRST exciting Haney fight I have seen, ever. Zepeda, with his volume punching, won't let it be boring.

                Oscar, make the fight.
Yeah, Zepeda vs Haney would be in intriguing and most likely exciting in every round of the fight. A great jab from one guy vs the volume of the other. I hope it can get made!
