Andrade's not an established 168 pounder. He will be bullied by Benavidez.

Crawford should fight Charlo at 154. If Charlo can't make 154 and campaigns at 160 then he can fight Tszyu at 154 then Charlo at 160. Then Canelo at 168.

I want both Canelo and Crawford to handle business in their divisions. These weight discrepancy mega fights are dull, one-sided turds, as we saw last weekend with Canelo putting a beating on Charlo.

You acting like Andrade wouldn't eat Bud's lunch at 168.

I rather Crawford not go to 168 and I am still interested in a Charlo fight or the winner of Tim/Mendoza.
I agree. The Canelo fight really took a lot of shine off a Charlo-Crawford fight, but unifying the 154lb belts by beating Charlo and the Tszyu/Mendoza winner is still a historic accomplishment, and one that is far more doable than moving up to beat Canelo. Crawford is great, but some people are confusing him with Floyd. While he may be as skilled a fighter as Floyd, his style isn't nearly as well suited to beating a fighter like Canelo.

Styles make fights and its a bad style match up for Crawford. Tall, rangey southpaw with power, will be hard to counterpunch. Canelo, flatfooted and same height as crawford so crawford shouldnt have too much trouble finding the target atleast.

Bud has only just filled out at welterweight, he has no place up at 168 with out proving himself first at middleweight at least . Another pointless beat down!

I'm not an Andrade fan. He always looks off balance and sloppy.

Crawford/Charlo is not an interesting fight now. May as well move up to 168 and get that $$. Crawford did all he could do at these lower weights. He is 36 years old and not getting any younger. Forget about the "0" as Floyd already has the 50-0 mark. I say cash out.

Well said. Floyd fought Canelo when he was very young and at a lower weight - 153. I'm not diminishing Floyd's accomplishments although the perfect record came at the expense of dodging some of the best fighters in their prime. (Hello Manny) Yes, an Alvarez fight would be the max money fight but it's unrealistic, just as you state. What's wrong with unifying the belts at 154? To do that, Spence has to back out of the rematch at 147 with Bud. That would be the best move for Spence, as well. If Bud can fight Jermell (three titles,) win there and then fight a much tougher Tszyu (last remaining belt,) that would setup one last fight for Bud. Three fights max - I don't think he has anymore left in him. At least doing it wisely.
