I have to wonder what Wilder's trainer-turned manager/spokesman Malik Scott will come up with next. Two months ago he said Wilder-Joshua fight deal is almost done:

Of course, this guy was just guessing and he gets his news from the same source like most of us get.

He, Wilder and Finkel clearly want to get a hold of that Saudi money.

Malik doesn't even want to see Joshua take interim fights because he's worried things could get terribly wrong.

Joshua taking a killer for his next fight must be giving Malik nightmares. He probably already bought properties on credit thinking truckloads of Saudi riyals are on the bag.

Personally, it was obvious Hearn never wanted to make AJ vs Wilder, but I can see how the way he talks how persuasive he is he has many people fooled. He’s been stalling this wilder fight for a long time and he finally has a way out now. He wants to put AJ in the easiest possible fights, it’s his main cash cow, he can’t risk it losing to wilder or fury and risk losing AJs value.

Eddie has remarked before that AJ would be joining the great Muhammad Ali in becoming 3 time champ if he beats Hrgovic. This shows everything wrong with boxing today. Ali became champ against Sonny Liston, George Foreman, Leon Spinks. AJ became champ against Charles Martin, Ruiz, Hrgovic, three stinkers of heavyweights.

But AJ vs Wilder is NOT happening.
      - - U and Blubber been sucking air for a long time.

No Brainer to fight Hrg in a huge International fight for a title, one of many stripped from Blubber when he had his Wlad rematch meltdown that has shamed him permanently from ever reaching the heights of Valhallah.

Deyonce been sucking even longer than that, but U always went for the suckers of boxing, so no change there.

I was probably the first Wilder supporter on this whole site. I also hate Eddie Hearn. This post is nonsense.

The fight was locked in - AJ and Wilder wanted it and there were no promotional issues. The Saudis simply pulled the rug out from under it in regard to the money. There was never any possibility of making AJ-Wilder with no titles on the line anywhere else - the big big money isn't there.

The Saudis have delivered for Hearn and AJ multiple times in the past, but they're also a bunch of lowlife thugs so it's no shock they've done a 360 and are now up Tyson Fury's ass.

Joshua will go where his best opportunity is. So will Wilder. It's business.

          It is simple
          1. Joshua fights Wilder and loses, his career is almost finished
          2. Joshua fights Hrogovic and wins, he is suddenly a "champion" and Hearn and AJ can stop shouting about being a 3-time champion,
Anyone who saw Hrgovic's last fight knows that any decent HW beats Hrgovic. After using a potential Wilder fight to keep AJ relevant while fighting a part-time boxer, Eddie is starting to lay the foundations of ducking the WIlder fight to get an easy belt from Hrgovic. I had said that a few weeks ago. The winner of Fury-Usyk will likely vacate 2-3 belts which will be up for easy grabs and we may see new HW fights on the scene in mid to late 2024.

Wallin-Gassiev absolutely was an IBF eliminator. The IBF website lists it as an IBF eliminator, the ring announcer announced it as an IBF eliminator and the bout used an IBF referee.

When the next set of ratings are published, Wallin will be listed as #2.

Check your ****ing facts before you disrespect a boxingscene legend.
My mistake. Thanks for the correction, Mr Legend. Appreciate the heads-up from the expert.

Malik and Wilder are laser-focused on the Saudi Oil Money. They have one-track minds. Finkel, otoh, is more on trying to correct his screwups years ago when he unilaterally turned down huge amounts of money offered by DAZN, which is no longer the same DAZN that spent money like there was no tomorrow.

These casuals still act like Wilder is some factor in division. In reality, he is too scared to fight Ruiz.
