Wlad's manager, throughout his career, was Bernd Bonte.

Finkel was Wlad's business manager/advisor in the US when he was fighting there a lot earlier in his career, so of course, Finkel, Bonte and Wlad knew each other well. But when it came to a possible fight between Wlad and Wilder, Finkel was looking after Wilder's interests, not Wlad's.

Finkel had nothing to do with Wlad vs AJ. That fight was made by Bonte and Eddie Hearn.

Wilder hasn't shown any interest in fighting anyone good and in fact constantly complains about people wanting too much money to fight him. He's not fighting at all unless it's for huge money or against bums like Helen's for easy money. The huge money wasn't there for Joshua or ruiz so he sidelined himself. Joshua is just continuing his career, is he supposed to offer wilder 100 million again when he hasn't had a good win in 5 years and he flopped in his last ppv? Wilder is the one who needs to be realistic in his demands.

Saw that interview on FNF and his answer has always been he's not committing to anything. Meaning, Klitschko was far from his radar screen.
That's probably the 2nd interview I saw on Friday NIght Fights. They do it in between cards.
Every time Wilder was asked about Klits, he skirts around without saying anything definitive.
I thought to myself this guy has zero interest in fighting the Ukrainian superstar. Remember, Klits had probably
1 to 2 more fights left before retiring. And here is Wilder acting as if Klits was still in his prime and he's not going anywhere.

Meanwhile, the Klits/Fury rematch was rescheduled by Fury citing injury, then eventually scrapped.
Klitschko, of course, was desperate for options because he had to make use of that long training he spent on the Fury rematch.
Joshua took the fight, while Wilder continued taking on B-level fights as instructed by Shirley.

Even terms? Joshua won every round before knocking breazele out. So silly. If you want to be silly breazele actually rocked the glass chinned wilder before getting caught trying to capitalize. If we use fanboy logic then Joshua must be thinking if breazele can rock him so easily I'll easily knock wilder out. In reality only fan boys think like this, what matters is making fights and wilder has shown he isn't interested in that which is why he's not fighting anyone. He keeps talking about money yet when fury was a nobody he gave him a 50-50 split because he thought he was an easy cherry. Against guys who he sees as threats he kills the fights over money

I think this AJ - Wilder stuff is mostly an excuse for angry boxing fans to argue. It's virtually a hasbeen fight at this point, does anyone really care that much?

AJ-Hrgovic is a good fight. Both in the top 10, the winner would have good momentum to get a shot at Fury/Usyk winner.

Wilder should've just taken the Ruiz fight.

As some of us all ready said. Wallin vs Hrgovic will be for any vacant ibf. So eddie needs to find another excuse to duck wilder now

so the guy sitting on the sidelines not fighting anyone, with a history of ducking, and a terrible resume, hes the one that wants the fight? what has wilder done to make the fight may i ask? oh nothing. and the guy who has fought almost everyone in the division and offered the other guy 100 million dollars is the one who doesnt want to fight? why is all the onus on joshua to make the fight? i dont know if he made a serious attempt to make the fight or not, but i know wilder did not.

Wilder and AJ accepted $50million+ offers from Skills Challenge Promotions to fight each other in Saudi Arabia in December.

But the Saudis couldn't come up with money, so now Eddie Hearn has to come up with it, or AJ is ducking the fight.

They may be thinking Hrgovic is safe, but he can fuck AJ up.

If Filip comes in with the right game plan, he ruins the AJ vs. Wilder fight again like Ruiz did.
