Nobody is lining up to see Jermell’s next fight.
Charlo dared to be great by jumping two weight classes to try to beat arguably one of the best P4P in the sport. It just wasn't meant to be.

Folks are very bandwagon in nature. Charlo fought well, he just wasn't strong enough or good enough to beat Canelo. He realized this during the fight - what's wrong with that? He still tried his best to catch Canelo with some power shots. He fought smart (smarter than expected). He didn't run. He stood there, for the most part. I guess some people wanted him to fight like Spence, and fight himself into being knocked out. He wasn't going to be that careless - by running face first into Canelo's fist, smh. Canelo is too strong, chin is solid.

Charlo got essentially shut out, but it would be absurd to say that he was damaged physically against Canelo. He didn't roll over and get demolished. He can still live to fight another day....at 154. There is still interest in seeing him face Crawford and/or Tsyzu.

I got my money on Crawford against Charlo and on Charlo against Tsyzu. However you look at it, Charlo is still marketable against both opponents.

Paulie Malinaggi called it right when he said Canelo messed things up, by agreeing to fight Charlo. Charlo really should not have gotten in the ring with Canelo, but money talks. Canelo should have fought Benavidez - a truer sized middleweight. He should have left Jermell for Crawford, Tsyzu, Spence, etc.. Some fight fans don't get mismatches.....they get duped easy. Folks like you, calling me out, got duped.

Keep telling yourself that to feel better but you're completely delusional if you think Canelo was in top form in that fight.

2 of Eubank’s 3 losses are KO wins on Canelo’s resume.

For my part, if I could pick his fights, it would be David Morrell to clear the WBA, David Benavidez for WBC mandatory, then take on Beterbiev. If he can win that fight, then he can offer the same terms to Bivol for the rematch at 175. Or Andrade, if he beats Benavidez.

If Callum Smith beats Beterbiev, Hearn will certainly make the in-house unification with Bivol, and shoot to get Canelo back.

Even if he beats Benavidez, there are those who will just claim Benavidez was overrated and is just a bum. If he beats Beterbiev, they'll say he's too old and Canelo aged him out. Canelo is never going to win with the hater crowd.

I know Canelo feels very proud about his win but he just beat a guy two way classes below his.

Also, he's a lot more skilled than the Charlos & a much better athlete with a high-school wrestling background, so Canelo is not going to just punk him in there.

Who has he fought like that?

Y'all said GGG's resume was trash & then he went out there & beat Canelo twice & got robbed.

Nobody thought any of those British clowns were going to beat Canelo.

Other than Beterbiev, which NOBODY thinks he's going to fight, he's been avoiding Benavidez & Andrade since 154

Name a current fighter who can fight whoever they want, whenever they want due to their cash cow status?

It's basically Canelo & Tank, who both use that status to cherrypick.

They've tried, if you haven't been paying attention the sanctioning bodies won't let them unify due to both being Russians, while the Ukraine war is happening.
Man you better check these forums. There were plenty who thought Plant would beat him and BJS.

Hes going to outweight him 20 lbs. Hes going to come forward and land devastating left hooks to the body. Only way to beat that is have power or volume to keep him honest and know how to avoid shots.

Crawford gets hit more than Mayweather and Bivol. His subpar opponents like a battered eye and jaw Brook gave him plenty issues and so did Porter who had been in wars and was ready to retire. Brook was up on the cards before being stopped and Porter was a couple rounds before.

Canelo is a better boxer than those guys and he will definitely land. Crawford isn't a busy fighter. That's why he loses early rounds. He likes to wait and counter. He doesnt get active until he knows he hurt his opponent.

You're expecting a guy moving up from 147 to be able to take an undisputed 168 lb fighter's punches that stopped even a lhw. This s$$t is fantasy! Hes not going to have power at 168 like GGG for Canelo to care about.

I like how you completely avoided the question. You were asked who has a better resume and since I know you can't name anyone that does you deflected. Weak af.

Not sure who was worse, Callum Smith or Charlo. Both guys fought like they had absolute zero belief they could beat Canelo and just did what they could to last the distance.

Can’t really fault either guy. Canelo did his best to dominate and get a KO but Charlo fought smart to survive being the smaller man. Ultimately the fans lost expecting a great fight but I think most of us here reserved expectations.

                      You're right.

I'm thinking about when he was at 140.

He probably walks around at 170 now.
