He has a solid chin, has a good gas tank and throws a lot of punches. He is younger and much bigger than Usyk. He also beat Zhang. If he comes in motivated he wins. I'd be surprised if Usyk fights him next.

Usyk struggled with Chisora. He beat AJ because AJ was scared to pull the trigger and use his advantage to bother Usyk. Usyk could have lost against Dubois had it been another ref. So yeah, Usyk is not doing much either.

Zhang is not fast, so how is he gonna catch Usyk? Massive power is ok if you connect, but can he connect to someone who made his trade to dance around and avoid being hit clean? Plus, Usyk pressure will force Zhang to move more and have his stamina tested past 6. I would say, should be pretty comfortable match for Usyk, except (1) Zhang manages to hand on him, tire, pin and unload; or (2) Puncher chance. But that's kind of an equation Usyk faces with every heavyweight out there, who is heavier than him, so nothing new in his book. Joshua, who arguably is more athletic, faster, practically as big and probably punches stronger did not manage to catch Usyk. Fury is different - he is fast with hands and non-stationary, a bit like Bellew on steroids, so probably the most difficult fight out there for Usyk. Zhang is neither, he looked faster than Joyce, but then Joyce is just an extremely slow boxer. Vs. Usyk he's gonna punch air, mostly, I think.

Patterson didn't have Usyk's elusive movement and he was notoriously chinny. He had been decked multiple times by different opponents before fighting Liston, including 9 times in 3 fights vs Ingamar Johanssen, losing one of those fights by KO.

Usyk would be too fast, too elusive and too fit for Zhang.

I would like to see Zhang vs AJ but not before Zhang vs Usyk. I like Zhang vs AJ but I think AJ wins and it would be AJ-Usyk 3. I want a clash of different styles so Zhang vs Usyk is more entertaining for me.
