Patterson didn't have Usyk's elusive movement and he was notoriously chinny. He had been decked multiple times by different opponents before fighting Liston, including 9 times in 3 fights vs Ingamar Johanssen, losing one of those fights by KO.

Usyk would be too fast, too elusive and too fit for Zhang.

Patterson was never splattered before Liston.

I said this in another threat, everyone and their mother knows Old azz Zhang will empty his tank by the 6th round (he gassed with croatian at 8th) after KING USYK will put him through the fast-paced first half of the fight. By then Usyk will run circles around this robot. word!

He has a solid chin, has a good gas tank and throws a lot of punches. He is younger and much bigger than Usyk. He also beat Zhang. If he comes in motivated he wins. I'd be surprised if Usyk fights him next.

So now I won't argue if anyone says Zhang or Hrgovic can beat Usyk - Dubois did it, so why not... it's an uppercut and hit usyk just behind the elbow. Completely legal. Usyk was 1 punch KOed by a bum who doesn't even punch half as hard as Zhang

I like Usyk. Great fighter, a patriot for his country, and a clever man. He’s got a marathon level of stamina you seldom see in heavyweights.

All I know about Zhang is what I saw in his last fight: Gigantic man with incredibly fast hands for a big guy. I’m thinking that would give Usyk a lot of trouble. Really fast hands can nullify fast feet. If Zhang catches Usyk clean, it could end quickly.

But Usyk will know that, keep his distance, and try to wear Zhang down. If the fight reaches the latter rounds, Usyk would probably win on points. But it’s a big “if’.

I've gone from an Usyk fan to wanting to see him get knocked out. His fanboys think he is Superman, every HW thread with sensible talk and then they come in slobbering over Usyk.
