Fury VS Zhang is absolutely next. Think about it

Warren promotes both fighters. It will be very easy to make in promotional terms.
this is their first and last chance to break into the Chinese market with a 40 yo Chinese KO artist in a world heavyweight championship fight. First time in Chinese history. They can do this once or never again in their life time.

    they will make big money

usyk’s team is not easy to negotiate with and he doesn’t bring the audience Zhang would.

I agree. Unification would be a nice thing if it were WBC vs. WBA ala Leonard - Hearns I or Spinks - Braxton like back in the 80's, but with 4 or 5 belts floating around it's just a silly thing. Fury never lost the belts that Usyk is holding anyway.

Usyk drops below Zhang in the pecking order now, belts and all.

No way the gypsy fraud boxes Zhang. He won’t box anybody decent ever again.

I mean why yeah, why not? He deserves it.

If not Usyk then Fury-Zhang is the logical fight to make.

It's absolutely a massive fight and easy to make, in theory. No promotional disputes, no network issues, the contender definitely wants it as he's getting too old to wait for any other chance, and it's not like a mandatory is going to get in the way from the WBC.

But if Fury can make mega money fighting non boxers, why do you think he'll opt for mega money fighting an actual boxer?

If Fury took that fight in a timely fashion I dont think anyone would complain at all, he'd deserve total credit and it'd probably win people over again.

Unfortunately with the way hes acting these days it doesnt seem all that likely.

Firstly, Quensburry would set their eyes on the fight with Usyk to get the belts they do not have, rather than an in-house competition. Zhang has the opportunity to fight Usyk as a mandatory after Hrgovic. They would fancy his chances against both (i.e., whoever wins in that fight). Secondly, Zhang being viewed by millions (on possibly free live stream) doesn't translate to him bringing big cash right now. If anything, they may feed him some average fighter in HK, Shanghai, or Macao while waiting for their title shot. Just some statement from commentators/analysts doesn't translate Zhang to become a cash cow unless it can be proven.

                  they work for Tyson

Tyson has made it very clear

Fury is fighting Jon Jones next, the clown don’t want Zhang, Usyk, or even AJ and Ruiz for that matter.
