Very good scrap. Gassiev's injuries have really hampered his ability to stay active since the WBSS. Hopefully he's fully healthy for this one bc Wallin is a tough out at HW being that he is a southpaw that can box and has power so this a good test for Gassiev to see if he can hang with big boys at the top.

Otto Walin "believes" a lot of things but hasn't beaten anyone of significance to date. He's wasting his prime years simply throwing the names of top fighters when he needs to realize he brings little to the table, and get busy boxing up-and-coming or 2nd-tier contenders to make a name for himself. Fight Hrgovic, Sanchez, Ajagba, Bakole, Makhmudov, Parker, etc. or even a Jermaine Franklin. If he beats those guys, his popularity builds and he gets the A-listers.

To me, his claim to fame is a cut on Fury and he still lost the fight.

Otto failed to capitalize on his great showing against Fury 4 years ago, now he finally fights a credible fighter, this is to little to late.

Gassiev by KO. That short right hand (Gassiev's best punch, imo) will be especially effective against southpaw Wallin. I think 5-6 rounds is all it will take to crack that chin.

Wallin has lost 4 years calling out top guys, while fighting trial horses. Now he is taking the right fight.

Said it before, don't think Gassiev will have too much trouble finding Otto. Wallin definitely doesn't have the power to stop Murat, so I don't see Gassiev respecting what is coming back at him. Wallin is no Usyk.

To be honest... I had zero idea this fight had been signed. Totally missed it. Neither of these two have any momentum right now, so while it is not an important fight, it is a sneaky big one. The contrasting fighting styles makes it intriguing.

                    Color me interested.......
