I don't think they were THAT wide. I by no means am suggesting AJ got robbed or anything wild like that so if thats what you took away from what I said you are the one waaaaaay off with that interpretation.
Beyond that just look at the cards:
1st fight: 9-3, 8-4, 7-5 Usyk, this means if AJ had won two rds on two cards it would have been a draw. Thats not a super wide W for Usyk.
2nd fight: 8-4, 7-5 Usyk, 7-5 AJ, this means if AJ had won two rds on one card he would have won the fight or one rd on one card it would have been a draw, thats really close
Its not like Usyk Mayweather'd him 10-2, 11-1 in either fight. This was a competitive fight. It wasn't controversial, but it was competitive.
I don`t know what to say, Hrgovic is actually the most dangerous fighter Usyk has ever faced.
Hrgovic has a very bad stamina, but on the other hand he is strong enough to Ko Usyk.
You know, he has bad stamnia and he KO Mckean in 12 round and he outboxed ZZ in las round as well. So, he has bad stamnia but every match he finds energy to finish last round in his benefit... interesting ...
We all saw the fights , Joshua was well beaten and nearly stopped in the 12 , first fight .Fight 2 Joshua had a little success in the 9th and did a little better all around but even fight 2 wasn't close.Usyk was a clear winner in both fights , never mind this had he had won another two rounds etc.
I SAID "I mean Usyk won obv" in my first remark so wtf are you even taking issue with that means anything. Usyk ain't win going way DESPITE the almost KO's you bring up. The reality is its still a 10-9 rd if you don't go down.
Usyk just ain't THAT GUY like mfers act like he is rn. AJ is like a frightened deer in the ring for yrs now & Usyk didn't Mayweather his ass like the super boxer some still hype him as.
And trust me I was all over Usyk pre-HW & predicted him winning a belt if not belts at HW so I'm not a Usyk hater by any means. I predicted he'd beat everyone but Tyson. But right now he's looking like a guy who'll lose to a lesser guy than Tyson to me.
I'm fairly confident picking Usyk to beat Hrgovic. The problem with Hrgovic is he isn't very fast on his feet or with his hands. He's big and strong and tough, and he has decent skill but he's going to have to hit Usyk with a really good punch that hurts him or slows him down significantly. I think Usyk will be picking him off all night and wear him down enough to win the fight. These big heavyweight's Achilles heal is that they can't deal with a consistent high workrate from a guy who hits them at varying angles. They fade while Usyk picks them apart. Hrgovic seems so stiff and lacking in dynamism that the smart bet would be on Usyk. Filip does have a puncher's chance, a big reach advantage, size, and he's a good fighter, so he definitely shouldn't be written off but, Usyk is a MUCH, MUCH better fighter than Hrgovic.
Not sure how anyone calls a master technician overrated when he’s the smaller man in every single HW fight he’s had and will have. If anything he’s underrated for what he’s actually accomplished considering his size and this being the era of the supersized HW.
THANK-YOU!!
No one SANE is saying any of the top rated HW cannot beat Usyk. He is very vulnerable in this division. Usyk has to pitch a near shut out in every fight, and that is what makes what he is doing special. The man fights. He unified CW during it's deepest point in maybe 3 decades, and has followed it up by tackling HUGE adversaries and doing what he said he would do, minus one belt. Of course if he keeps fighting he will lose. All it takes is one great punch and his reign will be over. But that is why it is must watch when he is in the ring.
You do not have to be his biggest fan to respect what he is doing.

Yes, that is his problem. he must be almost perfect to beat any top 20 ranked heavyweight.
