Fair play if you do, but I'd argue if you haven't given him credit for beating a HOFer & one of the best HW's in history, according to many pundits, Wlad, & one of the hardest punchers in boxing history, Wilder, a mere fight, not even a W, over Usyk shouldn't be what gets you over the finish line.

And even if I'm wrong about you I'd bet you are in the minority of Tyson-haters to have that stance.

I give him huge credit for those wins. And you'll see that on past posts of you wanted to. Or you can just take my word for it.

While I question Wilder's status... I think I called the second fight one of the best ever displays by a British boxer overseas.

I think he's been given too much of a free pass for not going through with the rematch against Wlad. And there's the fact that he was already under a drugs cloud... and later banned from a convenient time of two weeks after the Wlad fight so that result stayed on his record.

My questioning of him has always been about what he does once he has a belt. I think he's a very disappointing champion, and he's yet to surprise me or prove me wrong.

Don't forget that Fury signed up to fight David Haye back in the day, despite being a massive underdog.

95% of people on here predicted that Haye was going to knock him clean out.

Ig thats a key difference between us. Idgaf about "belts" like a lot of fans do. You are first or last as Ricky Bobby's daddy said. You're #1 or you're not. The belt is just a corrupt groups trinket to get 6% of a fighters purse these days. Granted it is a symbol of success in boxing if no one knows you. But once ppl know you it matters a lot less. And ppl know Tyson & Tyson is #1 in the division by most accounts or if he's not its off of his weirdo 2-3mos retirement that he's not like with Ring.

Fair play if you are disappointed with him. I'm disappointed with Andrade's career being so talented as an amateur. I'm disappointed the biggest name in the game isn't fighting Benavidez instead of Mell. I'm disappointed with a lot of things in boxing.

If Tyson didn't surprise you beating Wlad you are one of the rare folks like me who predicted he'd do it. If Tyson didn't surprise you getting up like the fooking Undertaker from Deontay's shot in the last rd of their first fight you must not have human emotions or something.

            I hope so.

I think Fury offered Usyk a fair split given their current commercial values. Usyk knew this too and initially accepted but later declined when the idea of having a Saudi fight caught up as he could negotiate independently. However, now that he knows his Saudi backers are no longer in the game, he might be more tempted to finalize a deal. Given what Dubois has done to him and how he could lose against someone else or keep getting single-digit paydays, a deal to fight Fury would be a lot more acceptable even at 30% or whatever the new Saudi organization offers.

Man, pro boxing is a cruel sport, you can`t claim somebody is N.1. because he beat somebody 8 years ago.

With Usyk beating Joshua twice it is very debatable who is. N.1.

And again, Fury has fought only 3 top 10 guys in 10 years. He is far from being a legit N.1. for me.

That’s because he was put flat on his back and saved by the bell against Cunningham . Lol

Not to mention he popped for nandrolone for the biggest win. I do rate Wilder more than most on here, but I don't rate cheaters. And Fury's been gaming the system his whole career. When you get stripped of your boxing license for cheating, that makes your win suspect. Being unwilling repeatedly to face the best does as well. He's had, what, ONE voluntary defense, and the other defenses he had to be forced to. Wilder 3 required a court intervention, and Whyte needed to have several purse bids ordered because Fury couldn't stop screwing around in negotiations. I haven't seen any kind of supreme skill other than the willpower to get back up after getting knocked down by Wilder, and we still need to see Wilder in with someone top other than Fury and old Ortiz to know what he's got. I'd personally be curious to see how Wilder would do against Joyce. That would be telling.

Most disagree with you tho. Maybe you'll be proven right, but I don't think you will.
