Ellerbe, Tank and his team can easily change their plan of rematching Pitbull and go for the Martin fight, instead, based on recent developments.

Frank might want to thank WBC for ordering the Shakur fight if the Tank fight happens for him as a result.

More than PBC when it matters that’s for sure.

Everyone knows Errol has a grudge with Keef & didn't want that fight. And ultimately he didn't fight him. If Haymon operated like the UFC Errol would still be sitting.
No one said anything about PBC operating exactly like the UFC. The point was simply as an entity, dominating their respective sport.

I’m sure Haymon is more approachable and thus easier to convince, and he’s not infallible in his own plans (like having Wilder duck Joshua payday for Fury’s corpse). But we’ve also all heard the “green light” which we get only from Haymon’s fighters.

I thought this would happen, i didn't think it would be agreed so surprised it was "announced" that they agreed, but im not surprised they changed their mind.

Why send Martin to take a L to Shakur

When instead they can make it an inhouse fight for PBC, Martin collects a bigger cheque and Tank taking Martins 0 looks better for his resume which is what they would prefer rather than Shakur taking his 0

If the word "eventually" means he'll be sitting around for now and play waiting games, then this sport has truly become a full-blown business.

Fighters are investing in time. Not the time you and I were brought up to believe like "Time is Gold." In this case, wasting time is gold.

If you think Shakur & other TR guys (or other promoters' guys) are calling their own shots all by themselves I got a bridge to sell you.

I think maybe you are naive about how boxing works & how little control boxers have under a promoter. Boxers have more control & power as free agents, which a lot of PBC/Haymon guys are, than under a promoter. Devin Haney has specifically showed this in recent years while doing his own thing without Haymon.

The primary difference is Haymon, as a manager, advises guys in a way thats better for their personal career/life goals while a promoter pushes guys in a way that brings more value to their promotion. PBC would be in a much better position, in dominating boxing, if they just crash test dummied all their top guys vs each other since day 1 like the UFC does to dominate MMA. They have not moved like that tho. They are a fighter friendly platform where fighters have more control of their trajectory, risk-wise or non-risk-wise & get paid a more lucrative piece of the pie than fighters with a promoter get. Bud has even been talking about this lately & about being wrong about getting guaranteed money over backend money which he now realizes has more value to him/boxers in general.

                Maybe.

Could end up fighting a patsy for one of Haney's titles.

Martin should’ve fought Stevenson. I don’t know what caused him to pull out last minute. All I do know is it was a TR ESPN event and it was on them to get this fight over the line. So I’m putting the blame on them.

I brought up Devin Haney doing his own thing too, but I'm shilling for PBC lol ok.

The problem isn't me shilling its your lack of knowledge & logic with how boxing operates & what promoters do & what managers do & why both do what they do.

So you’re not a shill? Apologies then bro, it’s just that you deviate to a strawman in every post like a shill.
