What was your point again? That Haymon’s goal is not mainly on the PBC brand but on the fighter’s wellbeing? Or that PBC is the best promotional company because the fighter’s never have to take any risks to get big paydays and that’s why you shill for it?
Bro you had no retort to anything except "Haymon Bad" "PBC Bad". And calling me a shill for making you look silly at not being able to respond in an intelligent manner.

I was trying to have a legit debate with you, but you don't appear to know much about what I was trying to talk with you about. Fair play if you just wanna hate PBC & Haymon, but its a simple way to think about things.

There's things I dig about PBC & dislike. There's things I dig about TR & dislike. There's things I dig about DAZN, altho tbh not a lot these days, & dislike. There's good & bad things going on in all of boxing & the business of boxing. This "PBC/Haymon Bad" sh^t is super played out at this point & it basically just makes you look silly when you don't appear to even understand whats going on & you are just mad or a weirdo cuz its different then how most operate in the sport.

There’s nothing to retort, you just made up some things and expect me to “defend” points I never said anything contrary to. Most fighter’s have advisors/manager’s, and most of them pay no attention to the business of boxing and take the advice/management blind, that’s the jedi mind-trick to Haymon, he is their highest point of authority, he’s got their best interest at heart as their advisor/manager. Yes, the guy that doubles as their Promoter.

Your points of infatuation with PBC look great on paper, “we can fight on Showtime, we can fight on HBO, we can go wherever the best fights are!” was the line by Wilder, Thurman and just about every PBC fighter. In reality they just stay in PBC island and rot with inactivity. That turned out about as well as their free boxing propaganda, only for them to be the entity hosting the most PPV’s.

I can respect your neutered personality where you always “understand” no matter what happens, whether no one fights anyone, or Fury is fighting MMA fighter’s while holding belts hostage, you’ll “understand”, because you “understand” business. But to me, PBC is simply a net negative. It’s cool that mediocre fighter’s can congregate and make some decent paychecks they otherwise never would’ve made, I like some of the idea’s, but nothing has panned out in regards of actually delivering or elevating the sport. Just the opposite in fact.

Lol, of course you are. Don't blame the guy who agreed to the terms and then ducked out when it was time to sign the contract.

It’s a TR ESPN event right so why shouldn’t I put the blame on them? Unless someone comes out and says something different. I don’t care for either fighter so I don’t have any bias there. It just confirms what I’ve thought about TR for some time. Not since Pacquiao they aren’t willing to put on big events.

You clearly don't know what a promoter is. PBC has had various promoters in its history. Tom Brown is their primary promoter now. A promoter is an actual job. Haymon does not do promotional jobs therefore he's not a promoter.

I've said there's things I like & dislike with all major players in boxing. We are talking about one of the things I think is good about PBC so of course your lack of imagination can only assume that I agree with all things PBC cuz you probably only debate with the dumbest ppl on this site usually so any nuanced opinion about something is some crazy concept to you.. I was dogging PBC in another thread a couple days ago, but you'd ignore that I'm sure.

Its no ones job to "elevate the sport". Wtf are you even talking about. One of the big problems I have with boxing is that there is no one putting boxing first. There is no NFL or MLB "running" boxing. Thing is its not PBC fooking that up. Its everyone fooking it up. Every group from boxer to promoter to ABC Group to commissions to anyone with any position of power/influence is looking out for their sh^t first & foremost.

If you knew half as much as you think you know, you’d know the term promoter can mean more than the guy with the face at the press conferences telling you about the fight. It’s the organiser, matchmaker, deal broker. You must think Arum and De La Hoya & Bernard Hopkins don’t know what a promoter is neither, they both sued Haymon for acting as de facto promoter, the terms thrown around I believe were “puppet” and “sham” promoter’s regarding guys like Tom Brown.

Tom Brown run’s nothing and has no fighter’s, he is Al Haymon’s employee. PBC is the promotional company, and Haymon is the boss that runs the machine. Tom Brown does not even pay the fighter’s, Al Haymon, their advisor does. Even if Haymon delegates, Haymon/PBC is the head. It’s like arguing that Arum/TR is not the promoter, Tom Duboef is. Or Oscar/GBP is not the promoter, Eric Gomez is.

Loma Haney wasn’t a big fight. That was on ESPN. And Fury Wilder was a Fox ESPN joint event. So nice try loser but I win.

I haven't been paying attention to boxing the past couple months, and it appears like nothing has changed: fights not happening due to promotional/network politics and sanctioning bodies making questionable decisions.
