This is the catch 22 when signing with PBC. Sure they get you the best pay day possible but its the inactivity between those paydays that are detrimental to 1s career. Crawford on his own got a decent stay busy win against Avanesyan. Now it looks like he will sit out hoping for a Cinco de Mayo showdown with Canelo. The most realistic fight for Crawford at this point is Tim Tszyu.

It's been held up by 2 guys for a very long time now. Fans are not even sure if the rematch would take place at 147 or 154. The other top players are waiting, rather than fight one another.

They have to. Otherwise, they'll rot like potatoes waiting for nothing. Look at Jaron Boots, he still has no fight scheduled yet. He's rotting.
