and hopkins dominated the first half of the fight so i guess that tells you how easy it would be if hopkins was even younger.

Hopkins prime was late in his career, it actually wasn't that far off. Why is it so hard for you to give jocal any credit for anything? You skip through rational posts and find one little thing to smear Joe with. Sure there are plenty questions about his career, but he does have some impressive wins. Beating bhop is impressive no matter what you say, and bhop is my favorite active boxer. I don't want to Rgue with you cuz I'm not a calzaghe apologist, but you come across as a blind hater. he was 44 get real. he may have been prime mentally as far as boxing strategy but physically its just not even close. if you ever watched an earlier hopkins fight you could see the massive difference. the way he slips punches and comes back with his own is ten times better and more frequent.

you want me to give him credit for a fight he lost and looked terrible in? throwing a lot of punches that don't land while getting countered in the process by clean shots will never impress me.
