154 wasn't Canelo's best weight. He hit his stride in punching power at 160/168. For all of Floyd and his fans speculation about Manny's punching power as he moved up in weight, Floyd had more stoppage wins (6) from 140 and up than Manny (5).

His ring IQ was significantly higher than Manny’s. We all saw this with the right in the 1st round that made Manny hesitant to throw and change his plan of attack.
