Surely UKAD can contract an international organisation to do their testing for them. For example VADA. Or they can validate a non-contracted organisation's testing results. Again VADA. Then there is the question of whether BBoB can use another agency's results. Why does it have to be a British testing agency that provides the results?

And then, if Benn agreed to VADA testing and by having his blood taken by a VADA agent he did agree the validity of VADA testing and test results, then how can he then afterwards claim that VADA's test results are invalid?

I would say that UKAD has every reason to appeal.

Having said that, the NAPD will have heard all the arguments that I outlined above. They also submit to WADA rules and testing as does UKAD normally. I think the crux of the matter is if Benn signed off on VADA testing - if he did I believe his argument is weakened.

5.2.2 of the UKAD rules makes it clear that they can use testing from others. Unless VADA doesn't meet the standards for it to be accepted. Why it was thrown out needs some explaining. Time for a statement from the NADP
