You come on strong with this issue but I think you make some good points. I also agree about all these titles... Didn't Adrien Broner win multiple belts? I mean ok, undisputed, it means something... But at the end of the day, its the guys you beat that matter.

Certainly the Spence we saw was not the best version. Hard to say how diminished and how good the baseline Spence is... time will tell.

I predicted a Spence win. Ennis' resume is garbage compared to any established fighter.
It's obvious his team tried to pad his record of 32 fights with only one step up fight.
Not many fighters have that kind of protection. They're forced to be showcase victims
because they didn't have a team to protect them. Thus they lose their zeros early.
How do you explain at 20th fight he's still fighting bums? While Stanionis was already fighting Ortiz in his 16th fight?

          Yep, 3 weight world champion!
          I think Ricky Burns also?
There are way too many fighters who are far from elite or even world class really in a sense that are still winning multiple world titles just because of who they are tied to and there being too many belts. I figure its only a matter of time before we start seeing a lot more becoming undisputed and at several weights. Its all lost its meaning to me.

I agree and also when you beat them.

Just about all these fighters on Crawfords resume are just that, names at the time he fought them anyway. I just can not sit and pretend they had anything left to give.

So we're pretending that he waited Spence out? Not the other way around?

              Okay.

He has a lot of promotional issues and Stanionis had a deep amateur background and many fights in WSB, an olympian iirc? thus fast tracked but you're right he needs to step it up and get them in the ring with him.
Crawford, Stanionis, with Vergil out of the picture me personally they are the only fights at WW I have interest in, I think the rest are the same level he has already destroyed or a step back even. He needs to get them in the ring with him

If you don't even know the difference between winning a world title belt and winning the lineal championship of the world you're even more casual than the topic creator here.

Broner is a 4 division titlist but he never won a lineal title.

Crawford's championships are recognized as lineal, Ring Magazine, and Transnational Boxing Rankings Board world championships. He was the consensus champion of the world in three weight divisions. The belts are just trinkets, Crawford became THE MAN in 3 divisions.

He's 24 and just starting his career.
His only notable wins are Kambosos who frankly isn't great and Loma, Zaur & Diaz are 'solid' wins. About it.
Linares was shot to bits, Gamboa even more so.

Prograis will be a very good win

To be perfectly honest with you I got so bored of waiting around for it that I stopped caring. Regardless whose fault it took way too long for my liking.
