I still see no signs Boots' team wants that Bud smoke. They filed petition last year and IBF gave Spence 120 days deadline.

Crawford made an entire career of fighting bums and washed up former champs. He should've fought Spence years ago, he finally fights a shot, weight drained, post car crash, detached retina walking dead zombie version of Spence and it's "oh he shouldn't risk a fight with a 26 year old young hungry guy like Boots, he can now choose who he wants to fight", after months and months of those same people calling for Canelo to fight a 26 year old Benavidez.Comment

Nah you people making excuses for you boys to keep those undefeated records.Comment

The situation with Bud is nothing like Canelo. Bud is 36, he hasn't made spectacular money in his career. Canelo made a hundred million and has sat on the belts for years while "chasing greatness", ie looking for shot champs at higher weights, or cherry picking Bivol, who he thought he could beat....which blew up in his face. He is ducking Benavidez and that is his right, but he shouldn't squat on the belts. Regardless, Canelo has spent multiple years now ducking and refusing to relenquish the belts.
Crawford has fought a bunch of top 10 welters, he called for the Spence fight years ago and PBC wanted him nowhere near Spence. He gets his Spence shot at 35 years, almost 36, having been ducked for years and missing out on big paydays, and he destroys Spence. His profile jumps tenfold, he now has PPV drawing power BIG time as everyone see he is a monster. He is undisputed at 147 after WAITING YEARS. And he is now supposed to fight Boots, who has only beaten C and B- fighters and has no drawing power? For who? Because Boots is such a nice guy? As others have stated, people in Boots camp knew and said that he wasn't ready for Crawford just a year or so ago.
Boots should have already fought the other top guys at 147. With his talent he should be a draw. But apparently Boots likes looking amazing versus ****ty comp and not risking too much. Villa hit him cleanly throughout their fight. Bud would hurt him and stop him anyway. But just like Bud said, if he wins, he gets nothing but "well Boots was green". No belts, no big payday.
This is PRIZEFIGHTING. A guy fights and makes himself a draw to make big money and to get the big fights. Ennis needs to beat an ex champ like Thurman, Stanionis, etc, and become a draw. As it is je will likely have an easier path to the belts anyway, one Bud vacates. And I feel like the massive amounts of call out from Ennis knowing Bud is moving up regardless, is mainly posturing. I don't think Ennis wants a Bud fight, to be honest. He is being loud because he knows it makes no senze for Bud and now he can say, yeah, Bud ducked me because I am so terrifying.
It's all ridiculous. And as others have said, the old champs all fought the biggest money fights when they were at the peak of their powers. The Bud hating is unreal.
Canelo has fought way much better fighters than Bud, and challenged himself much more.
Bud has been fighting in divisions with has beens or past it fighters.
Canelo has fought May, Cotto, Lara, GGG, Bivol, Trout.
Now go take a look at Bud's record and laugh.
Also Canelo in Bivol (and others) fought a much bigger guy when Bud never really was the smaller guy in a fight, he had longer arms than Spence and more muscles.
Boots would end up as one of Bud best wins, that's how Bad names are on Bud's record and how good Boots is and that kid will end up champ win or loss.
Bud racked.belts in unstacked divisions.
It's sad because Bud IS an ATG level fighter, but he has been in weak eras of 135, 140 now 135 and 140 have better fighters. And he arrived in a declining 147.
Now that someone Can finally match IS athleticism and skills he does'nt want It...
If wanting top fighters fighting the best IS hating...then I don't know.

Charlo couldn't fight TT because he "hurt his hand". All of a sudden the Clenelo fight pops up and he's healed. That's a duck.
Haney wanted no part of a Loma rematch and he wanted nothing to do with SS. He practically ran out of the ring when Shakur stepped in there. He is fighting Prograis because it looks like an easy fight to his daddy and he's desperately trying to cling to his belts at LW at the same time. He was made Champ in Recess by the joke that is the WBC because he's a DUCK.
If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck . . . it's a duck.
Who is TT? Tszyu's son? Why does that even matter? Fighting Canelo is a bigger fight. F.uck that guy. Full stop. There's a reason Benavidez doesn't try to fight anyone but Canelo. It's the biggest fight anyone can make. There's a reason Bivol is sitting on his ass instead of fighting Beterbiev... again, because Canelo is the biggest fight anyone can make.
For Haney:
I don't think a rematch with Lomachenko does anything for Lomachenko. He's proven twice now that when he fights the big fight, mentally, he isn't willing to exert that last 1% to unequivocally win.
So personally, I don't care if Haney doesn't rematch Lomachenko. It was a close fight but close doesn't win. Twice now, judges don't care for his style if he's not making a complete fool of his opponent.
Shakur turned down the fight with Haney, so bump that. That fight not happening is on Shakur, who now can't even find an opponent despite showing up to a Kambosos fight just to talk s.hit and using twitter to get Lomachenko to fight him. While both fighters told Shakur to go take the purse split and fight Haney. On what world do professional boxers tell a guy to go fight the main guy in the division? Doesn't happen in this one and they both told him to quit ducking and fight Haney.
Prograis and Teofimo are the two toughest fights at 140. You are either a biased hater or simply not a real boxing fan to make up conjecture for Haney fighting them.
Mind you, I am not a Haney fan by any means. I chose Lomachenko against him. But I'm also not a biased NSB boxing poster. So maybe that's the difference here.Comment
