No you think that because your a boxing ****** and can’t distinguish clean shots or ring generalship just like Hrgovic actually defeated Joyce In the SD loss in the U.K if you count actual shots landed not blocked or parried ? Anyway the punch counts that are actually counted make it impossible for Zhang to have won that fight but again your a boxing ****** so ?


Maybe you dont know what data is go look at the punch counts in the first fight that were tallied up and explain what rounds and how Zhang won even with a missed knockdown by Joyce not even included.It wouldn’t shock me if you didn’t know what data was either . Casual UK fans are more likely to bet on Joyce, which brings the odds on him down. Same thing happened for the Thompson-Price rematch, Price got stopped in the first fight but was a slight favourite for the second with the bookies.

Joyce is 37, just took his first loss by tko against a fighter equal his size. Zhang was backing Joyce up from the opening bell, had him rocked in the 2nd round, and can take whatever he throws at him. Joyce is only good against smaller guys, guys his own size that can take a punch are kryptonite. Anything can happen in the HW division, but any smart capper won't be laying units on the money line for Joyce. Unless Zhang has covid and just broke his leg, there is no reasonable thought to indicate Joyce can do anything different.

the flip side is that joyce has endless stamina and zhang doesn't.
joyce can take a punch....but he can't stop a cut above his eye from swelling and messing with his eyesight. the cut, was not so much finesse and technique but just law of averages. It also helps that zhang is taller than him and hence there's more likelihood he'd land on his eye better than the likes of dubois could.
in a rematch, i expect joyce to win.
