Jake Paul might be the biggest star in boxing

Canelo is nearing the end and as much as I like Bud and Inoue for their generational talent neither has or maybe ever will break through to the mainstream. Meanwhile we have a pre made star that needs to be matched carefully and stay active to spotlight the sport. People might not like Jake but he guarantees a few hundred thousand ppvs for fighting nobodies just imagine if he’s built up in 2-3 years he will be pulling in over 1 mil ppvs consistently. He’s already broken 1.5 mil and had over 500k ppvs 3 times. He’s the star the sport in the modern era needs to back.

He was a star before he started boxing so it's a ****** comparison.

If Dwayne Johnson or Bill Clinton or Taylor Swift or Zendaya announced a pro boxing bout tomorrow they'd instantly be the biggest star in boxing. So what?

So what is that we the boxing fans need to get behind the guy that might be able to carry the sport he gets far too much hate when he could be the actual face of boxing once Canelo is done.

Well his manager says he's retiring if he loses so you better enjoy tonight's fight because it's going to be his last!

Paul as a person is an average looking, probably average intellect, as my lovely wife put it when seeing him "the kind of guy you avoid in High School" lol. BUT he has laid down a proper blue print for how fighters can be successful and get rid of the sychophantic middle men promoters. Self promotion through social media is the way... I respect him tremendously for his efforts. He also tends to promote some fighters who need it like Nunnes as much as I hate women's boxing lol.

Fighters may not like him, he may not have the presence of a guy like Diaz, but he has laid down the way fighters should manage their careers. The sooner fighters realize this and kick cheap no fight biatches like Arum to the curb the better.

The “face of boxing” thing is a useless catchphrase to put a public-friendly marketing spin on the sport. Boxing is fine with or without Jake.

Boxing has only 2 genuine ppv stars left Canelo and Jake so how does it help boxing to lose one when the other is coming up to the end of his career?

Not so sure about Bill Clinton

                Maybe Hilary vs Monica Lewinsky.

I respect what he brings to the table
On the other hand , I would truly respect him if he begins fighting legit boxers
Right now he’s using the sport to line his pockets

I think he is for sure.

He sells a ton of PPVs and has knocked out like 5 UFC champions. His events are fun and he always scores a big KO
