if he went up to 154 and beat a few top guys that would be very impressive

I think it depends on who has the belts at 160 when he's finished up at 154. I genuinely think he could pick a belt off a guy like Lara/Danny, Janibek, or Gualtieri. A stronger titlist like what Canelo, Golovkin, or Jacobs were at their peaks would be a bridge too far, though.

Completely different builds. Haney and Ryan may top out at 154 as well.

pacquio grew into the weight, and fought a lot of corpses with his catchweights. Now canelo, he created his own weight division, and took clauses to another level. He used to weight 174 pounds when he was fighting at 155. So please, leave the greatness out of this.

I'd love to see Bud fight Charlo at 154. Both fighters bring a different type of mean, nasty disposition to the ring. I think Bud's boxing IQ would prevail in that one and most likely via stoppage.

It just shows you how strong Canelo is. I said strong, not skilled.

If he were to conquer 154 and retire i dont think anyone could say hes not the best of this generation. 135-154 while claiming lineal in each of those divisions along with 2x possibly 3x undisputed.....

If he becomes lineal at 154 it's a wrap for best of this generation.

As it stands only 9 dudes have been lineal in 3 divisions including Crawford.

Only Mayweather and Pacquiao have been lineal in 4 divisions.

Crawford's gotta stay on his horse. Inoue is right there about to match him as two division undisputed champ. Usyk maybe too. If Crawford got to undisputed in a third weight class, that would be something.
