I think so because they both had a rematch clause and Errol has already triggered his rematch clause so contract wise he'd usually have to take it and the charlo fight probably won't be till this next year anyway because he's took that canelo fight so yeah in a perfect boxing world it should be a clearer path for bud to 154 titles but it probably won't be

Well the next highest challenger with the WBO is josh Kelly probably have that in Australia or even the UK if they offer more money to have it there. That's a very winnable fight for Tim and can't see him sticking around for months without fighting

I'm holding out hope Spence doesn't take the immediate rematch. In the ring, right after the fight, he said he wants it, but I don't think he's "officially" invoked the rematch clause.

Tszyu and Haney aren’t comparable here. Tszyu actually had a fight scheduled with Charlo, until Jermell pulled out with an injured hand excuse. Then he signs to fight Canelo, then he tells Tszyu he needs to do more to earn a title shot with him. Total BS. I don’t think Tszyu or any fighter should be gifted a title, but Tszyu didn’t back out of their fight, Charlo did.

He won the interim title against Harrison, and then defended it against Ocampo. Jermell hasn't fought in over a year, and is going two divisions up for his next fight. Why keep the title on him? This is what the WBC should've done with Jermall. It's not like Jermell gives a damn anyway, because the fight can still be marketed as "Undisputed vs. Undisputed" since the WBO will technically strip him after the contest.
