Bud beating Spence is equivalent to Floyd beating a 2009-2010 version of pacquaio?

Was thurman rated higher than spence when pac fought him? Lmao
Bradley was never a threat with his lack of power. And didn’t hold those 3 belts.
Margarito, JMM, Broner???!!!! Weight drain oscar at welterweight??? Are you serious???!
none of those guys gonna beat Crawford or spence cmon now.

Cotto is the biggest name on the list and even then i wouldn’t pick him to beat crawford or spence.

im a big fan of the previous era but would gladly acknowledge that floyd and manny hasn’t beaten anyone at crawfords and spence level at welterweight.

that doesn’t mean they are greater than floyd or manny, or that floyd and manny wouldn’t beat them.

Spence not out of prime lol. Anyone else other than crawford would have been pummeled by him last night.

So because he lost to a guy better than him and considered the number 1 fighter in the world it automatically makes spence past his prime?

no credit should go to crawford, his preparation and his game plan at all, because well, spence is past his prime anyway, he should’ve won just by showing up!

Why does every major fight end up being a referendum on Floyd?

It’s a boxing forum where any topic related to boxing could be discussed. Floyd is one of the greatest fighters and happened to be just in the previous era, he would be compared to and discussed with forever when talking about boxing. Why do you have a problem with that is the problem lol.

should I put this on men’s health section instead?

Your problem is you are putting too much value on an overrated Spence and his ranking. I'm actually looking at the fighters and their skills. Margarito was a beast who outweighed Manny by 20lbs on fight night. Broner was a 4 division champ. I could go on. Spence is past his prime and was never that good to begin with. Not sure why you keep mentioning Crawford, your question was about how crawfords biggest win compares to Floyd/ Manny. Spence is not even prime Thurmans level of ability imo.

Broner was trash, who did he beat at welterweight let alone his entire career? He even lost to a 135lber Mikey Garcia who Spence pummeled.
Margarito fight was at 150 not at welterweight and he had no decent win after he got caught using plaster on his gloves. Thurman avoided spence like a plague lol and went on a 2 year layoff instead.

No they didn’t beat anyone at spence level at welter. Even tim bradley retired when he was supposed to face spence.
Hatton and Cotto ain’t beating spence.

                      I have to disagree brother.

Cotto version right after Mosley, who fought Marg. That version of Miguel takes Spence. (Same version of Cotto that had the best chance against Floyd imo).
