Espn's Mike Coppinger blocked from covering Spence-Crawford

I know of it as fact. Coppinger was denied a credential WEEKS ago. Not sure why it's making news in the last few days. He was banned last month from PBC events. But more than likely his agent, who works for CAA, leaked the story to the NY Post.

He was also banned earlier this year, but it was worked out prior to Tank-Garcia.

He’s not their top boxing reporter.

He hosts their top rated show and anytime there's a big event going on, they send him to it.

Coppinger was removed because he reported numerous inaccuracies in connection to the fight and refused to correct them - despite both camps telling him he was wrong, It wasn't the first or last time where he was wrong on a story and refused to make a correction.

Keep in mind of Copp's track record. He was let go from The Ring and his contract was non-renewed by The Athletic.
