Ryan Garcia did 1.4 million buys.. Ryan is clearly the top dawg of the sport created by the Goldenboy machine..

Crawford overestimates the intelligence of the average fan. You need look no further for proof of that than this thread.

Like most here, I will watch regardless of the hype, I prefer them to be normal human beings as opposed to disrespectful morons. Unfortunately, thats not what sells to the plebeians. Look at the success of reality and trash TV. Most people just want bickering and insults, not skill and ability.

I think you’re underselling Crawford. He seems like a genuine guy. He’s not flashy, not loud, but that doesn’t mean he boring. Granted he’s not an actor like some of these other fighters that thin by putting on a false character somehow makes them more liked or more feared, that is a joke. Like Broners Schlick, fake, repulsive, embarrassing act. It didn’t make him more money than his talents could have, but now he has to live the rest of his life as the butt of people’s jokes. Crawford seems loyal, pretty friendly, and family kind of guy who is on the quiet side. Sounds like an honorable way to live life.

Pull Oscars johnson out of your mouth. Garcia wasn’t responsible for that 1.4 (if that’s the number) alone. Garcia top dawg? Dumb even for you. Sport created by golden boy? Even dumber.

You need a new hero. GBP is on life support. Garcia just lost via quit job losing half of his earning power, Ramirez just lost baddddddly to Bivol (I still can’t believe you posted that this was a close fight) and isn’t a big draw, Mungia has been dodging quality opposition for years and isn’t a big draw either, Ortiz has some SERIOUS health issues and may never fight again and the rest are just prospects at best.

Crawford wants a lot of money but has no personality and can’t sell any fight he’s in. A promoters nightmare. Talented but boring as sheet. Watching paint dry is more interesting that listening to Crawford zzzzzzzzzz

This is by far the biggest fight that's been on my radar in years. I genuinely like both fighters, I admire their skill sets, and I'm anticipating a classic bout. Say what you want about these fighters and the numbers that they'll allegedly generate. Fellow boxers can learn a lot about the characters of Spence and Crawford.

I’m not seeing really any mainstream buzz for this fight less than 2 weeks out.

Makes me think the PPV buys may come in low.
